he seriously lacks the vocabulary to speak on such serious topics as he has proposed for discussion
@alexeypolevoybass Жыл бұрын
@@vegripperfan this, and grammar too, to be honest. But that's not the worst part, since the dude also lacks intelligence required to dive into such topics. Saying both “I hate Putin” and “I love Balabanov's movies” is like saying “I hate Hitler for his actions, but Mein Kampf is hell of a masterpiece, this book shows you the best of German culture”. Now that I've explained the problem, I hope Alex gets a second round of canceling for being THAT dumb of an asshole.
@mastersafari5349 Жыл бұрын
@@alexeypolevoybass Your examples logic is flawed here. "Mein Kampf" was Hitler's book whilst Balabanov was just a film director in Putin's Russia. And you definitely can despise Hitler whilst for example admire Leni Riefenstahl as a German director of that era. However even that comparison isn't fair cause Balabanov didn't get involved in actual propaganda film production unlike Riefenstahl.
@alexeypolevoybass Жыл бұрын
@@mastersafari5349 as someone who've spent 30 years in Russia and whose friend knew Balabanov in person, I can only say you know literally nothing on the topic, so you must shut up and listen. Balabanov's ideology is downright nationalistic and even chauvinist. It's not only his movies are like this, but the fucker himself was a Nazi openly bragging about how he hates everyone “unrussian”. Putin admires Balabanov much more than anyone else, and that's FOR A REASON. Balabanov had power only Mikhalkov has as of now, if we speak about film directors living under Putin's personal protection. You have NO idea who Balabanov is, stop lecturing me on topic you never knew in the first place.

Was awesome to see this and that fact that you gave this band a platform. Great interview.

Same for English. There's no exact equivalent of “cringe” in Russian, for instance. Languages aren't black and white, one can't be “more profound” than another. Besides, Alex is terrible at Russian for a native speaker (pun intended), he's definitely the last person I'd want to learn Russian from if I was a foreign learner.

I only have 47 days left to hear Baba Yaga, Demolisher, Hell, Viking, Agony, Bratva and I hope like hell "Your Only" in person. I swear I'm gonna blow a grand on merch from the show. Slaughter to Prevail and Paleface are the apex of the evolution of metal as I see it. I pay good money to meet the band just so I can get a photo and have the band sign my favorite guitar.
