Biological entanglements of all kinds removed; snakes, birds, dobbers, and now moths? Never a dull day in Ted's Traneville.

If you go back and watch your video at time 4:24, you will see the bug sitting on the edge of the exhaust port. When you stick your hand in there to get the stuff out, the bug falls down into the fan and you left it there. That’s what you heard when you started it the second time. You probably didn’t want to get a vacuum cleaner to suck out the trash, but maybe you should when there is a possibility of stuff falling further into the machine.

it was a small bee or yellow jacket by the looks of it, will probably get crispy and disintegrate and blow out in no time. considering you have to remove the inducer to get it out and probably tear up the gasket around it just to get some small debris out, i'm not sure its worth it. seen furnaces go 30 years with so much rust flakes in them you could fill a soda can the real problem was the larger debris and the zero torque of that inducer motor apparently since a small finger assisted spin make it start.

I had a no Heat incident last year on my brand new furnace. The drainage line was frozen (its a high efficiency system). The HVAC company had to hook up a condensation pump with alternate piping to drain water into a downstairs toilet in order for the system to heat my house until the temperature rose above freezing.

One time a bunch of beetles stopped up a condensate drain… yep!

Consider getting those things you put over your shoes, so you don't have to take your shoes off when you go inside someone's house, you slip them on and take them off and leave them in your truck >>!! easy!!

That would have been a great place to set a good old Lennox Pulse furnace and let it purrrrr . 😎👍

What the hell are you talking about a Pulse furnace.

I’m amazed that these motors have zero torque to them. My Trane inducer failed 2 years ago. The tech kicked it and it started right up. He replaced it anyway under warranty 🤷♂️

Unfortunately the little 2 pole PSC motors have very low starting torque, albeit more that an old shaded pole motor.

Should have used a vacuum to do a thorough job. No I am not trying to criticize, just common sense.

Should be non flammable board (drywall or cement board), around the furnace. If Styrofoam burns, it produces deadly gases.
@throttlebottle59068 ай бұрын
yeah, it shouldn't be left exposed anyway. it's against building code most everywhere. 🤔
