Rich Gaspari www.gasparinutr... has been involved in the bodybuilding and fitness industry for over 30 years. His success as a competitor, attributed to his scientific approach to diet and training, and notoriously brutal work ethic, is a testament to a man who, though not as genetically gifted as many of his competitors, toppled nearly every giant of his day. After retiring from the competitive stage, without financial support from investors, he put everything he owned into the launch of Gaspari Nutrition. Over the past 13 years, Rich has developed a brand of supplements under his name, into one of the most formidable and best loved in the world. His determination and love for the sport of bodybuilding has seen a successful transition from his days as a competitive bodybuilder, now evident in his unyielding passion as an active CEO touring the globe teaching the fitness lifestyle to others.
In the Spring of 2011, Rich pushed himself to the brink of exhaustion and ended up in the emergency room. With the true spirit and heart of a champion, he dug deep to overcome the rigorous demands of a CEO to gain his strength back. In the Summer, he was honored with a Muscle Beach Hall of Fame induction ceremony joining the legends, Joe Weider and Jack LaLanne, that preceded him. Going back to his roots in Venice Beach brought back a lot of memories for the first ever Arnold Classic www.arnoldsport... winner. The experience inspired the 48 year old New Jersey native to get into shape for a cover shoot to prove that it's never too late. Rich explained his motivation, "People always make excuses, either they're too busy with family or working or they're too old to get back in shape. You have to make time. Basically I put my positive focus to get back in shape to prove to myself that I could do it and as a result others were inspired by it as well. It was an amazing experience!" Follow the Dragon Slayer on the road, at home, in the office and in the gym during his "51 Days to Fit" transformation. Walking the walk doesn't begin with a step. It begins with a choice.
