As far as fixing the rust spots that the panels won't reach you could get some used washers and dryers for sheet metal and get an English wheel with some shaping hammers to shape it up

I do have some scrap sheet metal around the shop I could use but I think I can get a replacement panel for it to so I’ll figure something out once I start working on the box, I’m working to get it mechanically sound first then the bodywork will begin!

This will be a good one, Boss. In two months, you'll start talking about chopping the top and lowering the stance. 😜. If it's a shop truck, you're have to do a little extra with the paint job. Got a question. I haven't used my R500/UPK gun yet, but I was looking at videos on the best way to clean it. One video showed the guy putting a little Vaseline on the middle part of the Fluid Needle. This guy have a big buck gun, so I'm guessing he's know something, but no one else says anything about this. What's your take? Anyway, this truck build should be helpful to a lot of us in the Rust Belt. I due west of you between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Thanks Joe I appreciate you checking out the truck and honestly I don’t do anything with my needle, but I have see others keep some type of grease or something on the needle which I guess helps with the trigger but for me personally I don’t do it, I honestly don’t want to take any chances with my paint materials getting contaminated somehow

Are the underneath of your doors rusty? The underside of my doors are rusted and even got some rot thru. I need to fix it no good junkyards around me got OBS trucks. I also have a OBS stepside that I’m restoring right now. Same color as yours and I gotta do rockers and cab corners lol too. But if you have the same problem with rusted door bottoms, I’d love to see a video on a repair for that!!

I do have some rust at the bottom of my doors but luckily for me the doors aren’t rusted completely, but I’ll definitely work on videos for fixing up the obs, it’s my favorite vehicle to drive right now!
