In the uk we call the pop overs Yorkshire puddings and we eat them with a roast dinner. Also if there were any left we had them for tea with syrup or jam xx.

I did the Kraft cheese and saltiness as well. I'm 50 and I will on occasion have some still. My mom and I would have a snack of it when I got home at 0300 from babysitting when I was 11-14 years of age. She would ask me how things went and I'd tell her about the movies I watched while the boys slept. I miss those days, hence the occasional snack.

Yum yum yum. My whole life seems to be a gathering of fragments these days. It certainly forces creativity! I appreciate watching what you do…it helps me think up new combinations. I use cabbage like you have and make a cabbage stew. It has hamburger meat, diced tomatoes, rotel, cheddar cheese soup, fiesta cheese soup, tomato juice/crushed tomatoes and then melt some velveeta cheese to melt in before serving. Salt/Pepper to taste.

I once bought a months worth of meat and groceries. A few days later a wildfire came through and we lost our storage building which contained the freezer with the meat and the fridge with extra eggs and milk. We also lost our electric pole that had the breaker box which meant no electricity for 2 weeks, so all food in the inside fridge was lost as well. Long story short, after that, I only buy a weeks worth of food at a time now. Seven days of meal planning is all my brain can really handle anyways.

Marvelous Bible passage! So easy to fall into that trap of what happened yesterday and miss the blessings of today. The ice fall could have been fatal, hitting one's head on concrete!! So happy it was not to be. We had a postman in town fall and hit his head on the sidewalk and die. Also the ice skating falls, wow that is the fastest and most sudden of slips! You're on the ice before you know what happened. Always good to factor in what you can and should not do relating to activities. It can be hard to be old and NOT feel old. Love how you promote leftovers or the using of food wisely. So many foods taste better the next day with the seasonings added. Thanks for the great video!

Good morning Amy, Oh boy! What an array of foods and doesn’t everything sound n look delicious. It’s amazing what you can put together for meals but I’m definitely not the whiz that can come up with some like you. There’s where I look for your help n great tips. Happy you and the kids got to ice skate even in the cold. We’ve been lucky here, bite my tongue lol., that it hasn’t been a bad weather. No snow either. Probably a storm will brew now, 😂. Thanks for an awesome video and especially for sharing today’s passage from Isaiah. 🙏 Have a fantastic and blessed day. Stay warm n cozy.

Your meals seem to be bringing many in the comment section wonderful memories. The first and last time I had pop overs was in the 70"s in home economics class . I thought they were the best thing since sliced bread. Teacher took them out of the oven and we ate them with strawberry jam. delicious. What wonderful memories. Thanks, Amy

Amy, I just made the same Hello Fresh meal a couple of days ago! I thought it was a little on the dry side so adding some coconut milk was a great idea. As always, I loved your Gathering Your Fragments video! I was tempted to go to the store & buy some fancy rice for a dish tonight but thought of you & decided to save $ and mash up some potatoes I had in my pantry instead!!
