You should make a copy of the temperatures and tape that to the inside of your cupboard and keep the original paperwork together in a folder on your desk. That's what I do and it works great and if anything happens to the copy, you just make another one.

Good morning Amy, I agree with the pink Himalayan salt. I have switched a while back and no longer use the iodized white table salt. I only use the pink Himalayan. It tastes better. It has more flavor and if I'm not mistaken, it's better for you than regular salt

Amy, you can buy powdered buttermilk and store it in your refrigerator for a long time. When you have a recipe calling for buttermilk, just mix with water! I use Saco powdered Cultured Buttermilk for Cooking and Baking.

Good morning Amy! Our milk started going bad, food just not feeling very cool..not as cold as I thought it should be. We had to get a new fridge, man at Lowe's said that's a sign the fridge is on its last legs. 2 weeks in to me being in Florida, It stopped raining? It had been going bad for a long time I think. After getting this new fridge, omgoodness..I now know what cold yogurt is sapose to taste like! Lol LOTS of good eats ....YUM! Have a beautiful day XO

Simple solution for lactose intolerance. Lactaid pill. Chewable or swallow types. When eating out or you don't want to make lactose free meal, take a pill right before eating dairy. Miracle to be free of those restrictions ...especially when out eating or just a simple ice cream cone. Sams and costco sells them. Released me of the fear of the results of lactose intolerance or being out and not getting to indulge in a treat that v had dairy. I'M sure others have shared too. Just wanted to share and tell you how much I enjoy your non judgemental videos. Do what you can!!

Yea. Orange juice is crazy right now. I found it under $2 a gallon at Ingles a couple weeks ago. I bought 6 gallons and froze it lol I hope they run that sale again. My kids LOVE orange juice. Praying for you and thankful for you.

Just a tip. Wash the probe of the thermometer after using before inserting into the sleeve especially if you are testing the temperature on meat. If the probe is dirty it contaminates the inside of the sleeve. You can clean the sleeve with a brush made for straws but it is better to clean it after each use.

Old bay is good on grilled cheese sandwiches. I put it on French fries and call them “poor man’s shrimp”. I tried Himalayan salt and it tasted sweet so I didn’t like it. OMG I JUST FOUND NATHAN’S BEEF “RESTAURANT STYLE” HOTDOGS. THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD.

I have heard another people say that cow milk has been going bad on them more quickly. A couple people say they have gone to buying the organic milk because it last longer (much longer best by dates) and saves money in long run becuae you don't have to throw out milk. I personally have not done this bit heard it from other like I said.

On any casserole: a little side of ketchup or salsa, onions, relish, pickled jalapeños, sauerkraut or hot sauce helps jazz up the meal when you serve. I like a little salsa with my tuna casserole. Weird, I know. Have a great day!

I have been trying to help her but I have never had a pantry. I have been watching videos to get ideas, but truth be told she doesn’t have the money to go buy all those bins. You could definitely mix in your kitchen aid with the dough hook. I made a similar roll the other day and that’s what I did. I mixed them for about 4-5 minutes on a low setting.

When I first set up my pantry I went to the thrift store and bought large used canning jars and other big storage jars. Some came with used lids and rings that would not be able to be used for canning but could be sterilized and used for storage of dry goods. I got my canning jars for around 25 cents each. As time went on, I saved all my spaghetti jars and pickle jars etc. This is what I use to store lentils, pasta, sugar and even flour. If you can find extra large glass storage jars at the Thrift store that would be even better for cereal and flour and sugar etc. I use glass, not plastic, because some plastics have chemicals like bpa that can leach into food, and you have no idea what era the plastic comes from (presence of chemicals) at a thrift store. Besides, glass is easy to sterilize when you get it home from the thrift store, they are see through so you can see what’s in them, and they last forever. It’s not a Martha Stewart pantry but it’s frugal and organized. Hope that helps.

One thing about cardboard boxes is that if there is a chance of mice, mice love to chew cardboard. They can chew through plastic but not glass. I’ve never had a problem but I live in a condo and we don’t have mice. Good luck with organizing!
