The gulam jamuns are perfect. I really like that you didnt oversoak them in the syrup. I was also told if you dont want them too sweet...you can roll them in some castor sugar and skip the syrup part.

Goolab Jamun/Easy Goolab Jamun/Gawa's kitchen Ingredients 1 egg 1 tin sweetened condensed milk/could add less 1+1/2 teaspoon fine cardamom 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 2+3/4 cup cake flour 2 tablespoons semolina 2+3/4 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of bicarbonate of soda syrup 2 cups sugar 1+1/2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder 1 teaspoon rose water Method In a bowl add two cups of cake flour, you can also have a three-quarter cup extra flour that you can add as you go, not too much flour. Add about two tablespoons of semolina, as well as one and a half teaspoons of fine cardamom buttery powder, as well as a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg. Add two- and three-quarter teaspoons of baking powder and a pinch of bicarb To the dry ingredients, add 2 tablespoons of solid ghee, add egg as well as a full can of sweetened condensed milk, if dough is sticky, add extra flour, if it doesn’t stick to your fingers, it’s ready. Line an oven tray with baking paper, roll the dough into a sausage shapes, after rolled, before frying, make your syrup. For the syrup, add two cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, half a teaspoon of cardamon power, 1 teaspoon of rose water. Boil it until sticky then remove. Put pan on medium heat, cook in oil, fry until nice and golden, they will crack which is good, when golden brown, remove and place straight into syrup and remove them dust or roll them in coconut.
