Here sex = baby making instead of making love...😜 Teachers won't dare to talk about sex at school because they see it as something to be ashamed of , lol. It is a taboo considering the fact that we can't have sex before marriage, slut shaming fear and so on. Also prostitution is illegal in India while it's legal in many developed countries. We have n number of sexually frustrated Indians with zero sex education here..... Many people settle to marry just to have sex, not because they know their partner well or love them.

Management had then forced her to wear saree to class, and turned out to be a disaster, she was neither comfortable nor confident in that. I don't want to be controversial here but we need something like the cultural revolution Mao undertook with fellow comrades in China from 1966-76. China was a land filled with superstition, social stigmas, religion customs that were centuries old and Mao's cultural revolution meant this was all put behind in the bin which led to the start of a new modern Chinese society. Of course this was all done through oppression and gave rise to an all party controlled autocratic state. Not at all supportive of this but there were some benefits to the cultural revolution which put behind religious customs, social stigmas, superstitions etc. We need a cultural revolution too in a much more peaceful way and hopefully people like Gayatri, Vivek from Mallu Analyst are all paving way to our own cultural revolution.

Tax was not on breast. It was on the individual. All women subjects had to give mulakkaram and all men meeshakkaram or thalakkaram. 'Mula' was not vulgar during those times. Breast covering was a taboo. From high caste to low caste nobody used to to cover breasts. So mulakkaram was not an entity pertaining to breasts. Breasts were not important enough to have a tax. The rest of your observations are true. Our society was a hell hole. Samskaram of past has no relevance. What is important is to make a samskaram which is faultless for the future. 🙏

അനുഭവസ്ഥ 🙋 കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ബഹുമാനം തോന്നാൻ സാരി ഉടുക്കണം എന്നായിരുന്നു കോളേജിന്റെ ന്യായം(guest lecturer ആയതിനാൽ age gap കുറവായിരുന്നു).സാരി ഉടുത്ത് എക്സാം ഇൻവിജിലിലേഷന് നിൽകുമ്പോൾ ഒരുപാട് നോട്ടത്തിൽ നിന്നുരുകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിൽ ഒരു അധ്യാപിക യോടുള്ള ബഹുമാനം ഒന്നും അപ്പോൾ കണ്ടില്ല!

The most funny part is the term Hindu was used by Persians to mention the people beyond Sindhu river .
