'Gazan children are the most traumatised in the world': Dr Gabor Mate

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Tuesday, Dr Gabor Mate referenced a study published in 2005 about how children in Gaza are the most traumatised in the world. The Hungarian-Canadian physician and Holocaust survivor spoke about how the international community must stop its support of Israel's occupation and how many people in Israel are not aware of what is happening to the Palestinians.

And I can completely understand what Hamas has done, after being brutalized by Israel for an accumulative 75+ years, and in reality more like a 100 years (Following the Balfour declaration). Extremely sad, but true. The conditions that the people of not only in Gaza but also in the occupied West Bank have been living under has remained hidden from much of the world. We went into Afghanistan supposedly to fight against the brutality of the Taliban. And yet, the brutality of the Israeli forces against Palestinians was never brought to light. At least in my experience. I feel great shame thinking back and seeing the walls from the inside and it not registering to me that the people inside these walls were living under an Apartheid regime. I never saw the bigger picture of what I now understand was an open air prison. I was fed lies and I ate them. Now they make me feel sick inside. I hope God and the Palestinian people find it in their hearts to forgive me. I pray for a much brighter future for all of them.

I can fully relate, as I was born in Israel, Jewish, and was brainwashed by the Evil Zionist propaganda, and I am trying to recover from the rage I now feel towards the state of Israel, for being so used and deceived. A permanent cease fire is imperative. The situation in GAZA and Palestine is catastrophic. 1000 or more engineers are needed immediately to fix the water and sewage infrastructure, electricity and communication too.
