Gazers-AGGRESSIVE beholderkin that true beholders totally spoil as pets (D&D Compendium of Monsters)

Gazers are tiny beholderkin that are super aggressive with any entity that isn’t a beholder. It’s funny but strange that gazers are so aggressive, especially due to their relatively low health and armor, but I suppose it’s easy enough for a true beholder to dream up more when their little pets get killed. Or maybe the anguish of losing gazers makes a beholder reluctant to dream of more. I certainly experience a small amount of anguish when my video game pets are killed in combat. Totally related (not)!

Beholders are my favorite monsters in the game. Gazers are my favorite familiars. I am a Warlock in a Water Deep champion and was character awarded Xenarthra's little albino gazer as my new familiar. Thous replacing my severed animated hand familiar. Our DM playes it so my fellow party members don't hate me when my gazer eats their familiars. Or use its telekinetic ray to steal shinnies from party members or just to set off alarms. LOl . They still blame me. Thanks for being you. Awesome that is.
