Pawn shops and friends going through divorces are about the last places left to find great deals on used firearms😁 I actually respect Century Arms; they're honest and forthright about who and what they are, a constant importer, often just an assembler, and occasionally a manufacturer. Sort of a Springfield Armory except Century is actually honest about who and what they are and in the way they do business. Ethics matter.

P5, P6 & P7 are all very cool pistols & some of the best 9x19mm pistols ever designed.

Very neat pistol you have there!

As a righty, I’ve found it’s far easier to clear a P5 (and a P38) with the port on the left-you tilt it in, toward your body, and it gently plops the round down on the table.

Bummer...good that there is a field strip video. The Olympia attack startet a lot of changes but this one was based on a Contract opportunity for a new police duty pistol for several states of Germany. The small one (compact) is neat too but has the slide stop separate. EDIT: On the left hand eject: It is nice to have. If you eject a round by working the slide and turn the pistol naturally 90° left as a right handed shooter the port points down instead of an outside rotation. On cover it can eject brass against the cover, but so do right ejecting pistols with cover on the other side. One can see the brass flying within the peripheral view.

I like the ejection port on the beretta 92 series, or the lack thereof is a better way to say it 😂

I don't have any experience with it, however my understanding is where it's throwing the brass. For right handed shooters it would be throwing the brass through your field of vision and possibly at you more often, rather than throwing it away from you. As a kid I saw some show or movie with Stacy Keach where they talked about this exact issue because his character was left-handed.

It’s on the right side because JMB put it there. lol.

Neat pistol. I would think the ejection port on the left would have more hot brass hitting the (right handed) shooters. There is alwsys the random ejection that bounces up as it is, but typically the pattern sends them off to the right, away from the shooter.

Interesting video. As a Walther firearms collector I had no idea ejection port being on the left side. We don't have a PS5 in our collection at this time. Thank you for providing us with a wealth of information. Although the pistol is rare I'll add it to our list, just in case we happen to find one. Teya had a great find, especially with the box included. Outstanding video of yours 😁. We wish you and Teya a great day 🙏

Thank you for sharing that information. My husband and I rarely subscribe to any social media sites. GBguns KZbin channel is an exception. Good honest content. Thank you again for sharing this information. I'm not KZbin smart 🤓

Well it would make sense if everyone was right handed and right eye dominant ..but.... We know thatb15 % are lefty and we know 50% are opposite eye dominant so it really doesn't matter ..maybe top ejection is the BEST answer ..just saying as a righty who's left eye dominant

hitler and the nazis loved the p38 and the left ejection port.
