I have worked for 2 defence contractor companies where we were specifically prohibited accepting anything. This was because they were worried about people trying to bribe or corrupt us. Great information. Thank you. No wonder McShane was claiming there was nothing wrong with taking all that money and that all MPs do it! Also, he said he was MP for Rotherham. What were his dates? I'm wondering if he MP for Rotherham when hundreds, perhaps thousands, of young girls and women from Rotherham were being "very badly abused" by the graping gangs and the authorities were turning a blind eye and refusing to protect the victims? If he was there, as the MP, when these terrible crimes were being committed, what did Dennis McShane do about it? Did he investigate any of the crimes? Did he talk to any of the young victims? Did he monitor the police or raise the issue with the Home Office? Perhaps he asked a question in the House of Commons or wrote articles for the Local and National Press, to bring more attention to this shameful dereliction of duty by police, social services, councillors and council etc? Or did he ignore it and abandon the victims like the others in authority?
