I spent time in many different denominational churches, including the Baptist Church, and I NEVER was assured of my salvation until I joined the Church of Christ.

@charlie Wow! That is very sad.

I was raised in a Baptist Church, made a profession of Christ and was baptized into " membership " of that church. As I began to study and mature I realized I wasn't saved at all. I'd been duped.

@@markgupton1313 Yes, I was raised in a Catholic church and the same thing happened to me. :-)

Greatest decision you'll ever make. However, in Acts 2:47 God adds, not join, to the church. But again welcome to the only church you can read about in the bible the book by which the entire world will be judged.

@@markgupton1313 I believe you, because salvation is not a prayer, or confession, or the way you live, but it is the Blood of Jesus Christ that saves us, what Jesus did at the cross, and all He asks is for us to believe in Him that is all! John 6:47

Thank you for defending the faith, that once delivered to the saints, continue to fight the good fight of faith. You did it in a manly manner pleasing to God and men. God bless you brothers Don and Arron. Love from the Philippines.

The biggest problem that I have had is that some people have come across is that a congreation they were associated with is that congreation drifts away and becomes angry within the parties and those that leave takes that congreation as an example and puts all church of Christ r bad.just because one congrestion went bad does not meanthat all r bad

Very good at answering their errors. If they were sincere they would take you up in discussing. In CHRIST Alone

I don’t like the video you’re reviewing.. I’m with you guys, I hate the idea of laughing about the Galatian anathema.. I personally don’t think anyone should use that passage about anyone else.. it’s so vague that anyone and everyone can use it. I personally think that it’s reserved for people who truly preach a different Jesus, like JW who deny His diety. I don’t know if I’m in the minority or not, but I would NEVER use that passage against coc.. And it doesn’t make sense to me when people do.. If you believe we are saved by grace through faith, not of works.. while there is some major legalism, putting a burden on people that not even the forefathers could bare, you all still would say (whether it’s contradictory or not) that there’s nothing anyone could do to earn their salvation, you have faith in Christ and what He did.. while the beliefs seem Phariseeical, the Pharisees didn’t believe in Jesus and who He was.. nobody has any right to condemn anyone in the coc

wish you did something about the bible and books like Enock and that people say LiLith is the god of the bible because there is a lot of error on that.

I wouldn't wait by the phone on a response to your invitation to debate. Doubt it's coming. These guys are young, new to the faith, at least they sound like it and are puffed up with pride thinking they know it all. I know because many years ago I was the same way. I'm so thankful the internet wasn't around then or I would probably have gone online and displayed my Scriptual ignorance for all to see.

In Acts 10, those hearing the Peter’s preaching receive the Holy Ghost BEFORE baptism! Many of the mainline Restorationist churches of Christ mix everything in the Bible together as if every author believed the exact same things about soteriology. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER establish doctrine out of the book of the history of the Christian conversations (Acts of the Apostles). Please “rightly divide the word of truth.” The churches of Christ do one thing right, and that is making an importance on who the author, audience, cultural background, and time period was, yet they never actually apply that to their understanding of Scripture. Please apply those things to your understanding. Example: ‘Did this happen before the crucifixion or before?’ You MUST NOT pull together different verses that do not share the same context unless they absolutely go hand in hand. Words from the wise: if two things are the same, then they are the same, but if two things are different, therefore they are not the same. Apply that to Scripture. May God bless all of you with understanding!

What? Acts of the Apostles is God's inspired word just like any other book.
