Mk5 really needs a buff, it would make more sense if it Was in 600 with only Vulcans as a sub and it’s shield being kinda useless

Unfortunately that doesn't make Bandai money, so they'd prefer to release this over buffing the original suit since it's a nice way to introduce the missle weapons the original was missing. I'm praying for your EX-S buff too!

Besides the obvious buffs for the original, a really nice fix would be to have it start positioning its shield in places that actually protect it. Realistically, if that shield breaks before you died, you soaked up a ton of time and damage, and likely lived for a long time while causing havok. But doing so lets them keep the suit a little squishier, as it suddenly has the drawback of the shield possibly breaking. Its one of my pet peeves with things that feel like easy fixes, along with better grenades and vulcans. Just conpare the ReGzid to the RegZ Custom, and imagine how much better itd survive if it just held the damned shield like other versions. Vulcans that can stun on lower costs suits, along with grenades that have a bigger blast radius, instant stagger, throwable while boosting, incendiary, etc. are all ways various units could be fixed. As for fixing the original MkV, let the incoms lock on while boosting, with more shots or higher stagger. Add stagger to the back cannon. Double beam sabers sub weapon. Though I'd still take just one missile pod, or burst firing mode for the rifle, probably more than i think it needs a second melee (the regular can always get buffed, along with overall ranged damage).

I don't agree with the shield part because perfect gundam already does so and whoever has to deal with it face on has the disadvantage of having to hit a smaller hitbox. Or a higher chance players will just target your legs instead. Given Mark V also has a shield booster it's reasonable to avoid it being destroyed at all times or you'd lose more mobility, even with the shield destroy increased movement.

I was easier to make the new suit alone, but changing the old one vs adding a new suit would have simply been a bad financial decision. Effort expended costs money.

Suit looks fun, but I share similar sentiments about the OG not having this from the get-go. If anything, it makes me want to play the raid one a bit more. As bad as it is, MK-V is one of my favorites in game

It's so much better that it's not funny. Like the MK 5 has to use two weapons to stun someone and this bozo here can do the same but so much fasger and more consistently.
