I see 2 smaller connectors close to the computer end of the harness. Mine has one and the wiring disappears up behind the glove box and heads over to the drivers side someplace. any idea what that connector is for?

Are you running the ecm in the car or just your tac module. Thanks

ECM and TAC module together. The one thing I learned is that the ECM and TAC module must be compatible with each other. I didn't get the TAC module from the donor vehicle I got the engine from. It was a nightmare trying to find the correct matching TAC. Always get the TAC and ECM from the same vehicle.

At the end it got cut off so did you run the ignition/Alt & starter wire that was in the factory harness to the ls starter ? I’m running my wires now and just trying to make sure I’m running them wires right thanks

Yes, the thicker purple wire from the factory harness goes to the starter. Alternator and ignitions wires also. If I remember, the alternator wire must be "excited" by a resistor. The "resistor" is the "charge" indicator lamp in the cluster. In other words, the factory used the indicator lamp to excite the alternator so you have to wire it to the factory harness. Make sure the bulb in the cluster is good or you'll chase your tail trying to get it to charge.

@@n5yiz hey.i know you sold the car...got a ?.....those 2 vacuum lines coming from under the blower motor....purple hose & gray /white hose....does the gray/white hose go to the heater control valve? The purple hose is short i think it went to that round vacuum ball from factory.....i dont have that ball..in my 86 regal...its a sbc350 in it now.....can i run the purple wire to the front of the carb port ( edelbrock 600) to get vacuum.from motor?

I had trouble on my 1985 Buick the stock ac adapter didn’t fit the ac/ compressor, one hole on the compressor was slightly bigger
