Those AR1 have 2 big disadvantages: - weight - they are a heavy tire - noise - they are the noisiest (can't really spell this word) I've tried (R888r, Ns2-r included) But as a track tire, they are the best when it comes to temperature they can handle.

I totally agree! Although I haven't been to the track with them yet. I still want to do some oil baffling and sump upgrades before going to the track with such a grippy tire. Also, I want to wait for the colder months (November till May) before going to the track.
