Hell yes, I am also wondering about the descents of those climbs: 20-25% with crazy smooth asphalt and hardly any slow hairpins. Must be a life experiene!

I was lucky enough to be there and see the making of this video over the 3 days. It was certainly a privilege! There really isn't a big team putting this content together which is incredible considering the quality of work they create. I counted 3 guys, including Ollie which is a fraction of what I initially thought. Kudos, chapeau, way to go fellas.

I really loved this episode. I never fancied a power meter but Ollie really brought home the value on the first climb. I have a bad habit of blowing up early in the climb, early in the day. Constantly admonishing myself to maintain a pace. But what pace? Using a power meter to define capability and set capacity thresholds and then monitor power output to avoid blow up? Finally makes sense.

@@dukabear9065 well, no worries, i am also sure it was the same reason why GCN did it despite the sponsor and location cause its GCN and if you add cycling + race + multi stage + free for all + sunny place together it will be almost impossible for them to say no to the offer...heck, since its gcn then just the fact is a bike race in a sunny place enough for them to jump on it considering how UK weather tends to be. oh, and also, i have not had a used a bike for many many years cause it have never been much a reason for it and the cost outweighs the benefits....specially when i for the time being barely got enough to each pay-check^^" with that said, the next one i get me will definitely be a red canyon aero or something to that regard as if i first gonna get me something i want it to be decent :-P
