The first road stage of the Tour sees the peloton ride more than 200 km from Copenhagen to Nyborg. While the elevation of the low lying Danish countryside is unlikely to have an impact on the race, long stretches of exposed coastal roads along with the 18km crossing of the Green Belt Bridge may leave the race vulnerable to crosswind chaos.

That heart at 1:49 was a fathers way to honour his sons memory due to comitting a suicide in the 90’s. Heartbroken the 25-year old couldn’t see any other solution. The heart has since being equipped with lights for winters and is also used by the community for birthdays, weddings etc. From deep sorrow to celebration of life.

I'm upset about Yves Lampeart's yellow jersey. It looks ridiculous. I looked him up - he's 180cm (5'11") tall. Not a short rider. The jersey they gave him would look too big even on a tall rider like MVDP. The dude may never wear yellow again in his career, and he didn't get an appropriately sized jersey. Should have been done right.
@StevenSkoczen
@StevenSkoczen Жыл бұрын

@@StevenSkoczen Point taken, I thought that too. In the moment he was too elated, but when he looks back on it, he'll see it wasn't right. He was an unexpected winner and I think that definitely had something to do with them not having the ideal jersey ready for him. At the same time though, it just looks, well, not professional. This race is broadcast around the world. If the TDF isn't the pinnacle of professional cycling, what is? I just felt like this guy got shabby treatment because he's not a big name in the peloton.
