Gdansk is Overperforming....in World of Warships Legends

Gonna spell this one out a little clearer I suppose 😂 in this video I’m saying that Gdańsk is fine. She’s a good boat, strong, but plenty of weaknesses. FOX FLAIR is a skill that Swirski has in slot 4 that is strong and I believe propelling my stats as high as they are. It’s easy to fudge battles with a SMOKE, reload buff, AND what is essentially a 35 second 9km radar on a DD. Follow? Hope that’s a little more clear 😊

@@DerkaGames it was clear to me from watching your video but don't want to see Fox Flair nerfed. It gives these 3 ships something fun and different and I like variety. Plus it makes them very effective at getting red DDs off the water...important for winning

17:43 I'm pretty sure French dd's don't have their special saturation mechanics like they do on pc, I think the reason Marceau got a heal in the rental phase was to simulate the increased survivability of the special saturation.

There are two lines here, the one that ends in Smalland is a little more difficult to play without smoke, but yes I think they're good. The line ending with Katsonis, is extremely good at the moment

Nice to learn something again, blackened part of ships receive only 10% of the normale damage because they are saturated. Only more information on this kind of stuff?

You know it’s too bad, before I ever played WOWS, I found Jingles videos probably 10 years ago and watched World of Tanks stuff without ever playing it, then WG decided to release it on Xbox and it was amazing, I put so much time into it, watching Jingles and Quickybaby in the background. Then some new people came on and changed the entire look of the game and the UI and made it look awful. I was also playing WOWS on a laptop and getting into it and finally it came out on Xbox and I’ve never looked back. I could nitpick the game but I also really like it, I play at least a couple games every day

@@DerkaGames you play some WOWS on PC right? So you must have a decent computer. I would just download it. 5 years ago I would’ve said just get WOT console but whoever this new team is just wrecked it. Unlike WOWSL, it was run by a new studio WG started so it wasn’t WG per se. Everything was great then they did the “UI update” and it’s just ew. Some people have made good videos on KZbin about it. Just search something like downfall of WOT console. It’s a great game though fundamentally. You know what to expect. Could be fun just to play around with here and there

I was in the first match, in the gearing on enemy team, drove around for 5 minutes, never saw anyone so cut back to middle and ran into Shima torps I was so po gg I did nothing in a gearing this match was on me still not happy about it 😂😂

They’re super strong I totally agree, I do think Fox flair on top of the strength is what makes them dumb. So dumb to play against a DD that has insane Dpm, insane speed, good torps, plus smoke/radar that could last 30 seconds 😂😂😂 like when you say it all out loud its very clear just how dumb it is

So instead of nerfing Gdansk, couldn't they just change the skill? It HAS to be different and feel... legendary. So many ships have felt underpar. Releasing a ship where EVERYONE is happy will never happen. Some will want it brokenly OP, and others will want it nerfed to the ground and be borderline unplayable. I think your stats are good because it's new and people still have yet to learn how to counter it effectively. This ship forces DDs to stop yoloing into the center to get off devastating torpedo strikes on BBs. It performs its role well and as intended imo. It keeps destroyers at a distance and actually makes them have to use their brain to come up with a strategy. I'm so tired of seeing DDs run off to one side of the map, go all around while avoiding taking any cap. Sure, you're spotting, but you aren't hitting ANY torps and caps are most important for a successful victory. This ship prevents that from occurring, and if you get killed or maimed by Gdansk, you were too open. The simple solution is to give it time and let the people get their hands on it before screaming for nerfs. I'm glad Louisiana didn't get nerfed, even though the majority screamed for it. Its torps are strong, but that's the gimmick, it's 406mm guns are the same as Montana. It has to feel different from the others. Nerf the torps, and you're effectively just an Iowa with one more gun, and nobody will fear its planes or turn in or out if it didn't hurt.

Developer's kid here with a major yap and moan session for our great CC Mr Gerka Danes: Gdansk is considerably larger than a Mogador hull making it quite a bit easier to hit however it is also likely why it has so much HP!!!!!!! Gdansk actually has roughly 20k LESS DPM than Katsonis, while also having 1 more gun. This is questionable but who knows, maybe its a sign the rest of the line will get nerfed? Either way, its kinda stinky... nerf Katsonis (i am not a CC so i am allowed to say that unlike you. Shame on you Derka!!!!!!) French DDs do not have their speshul saturation mecaniks in the great game that is worl of warship legend!!!!!! saturation halves the amount of damage taken in a specific compartment when it runs out of HP, and normal pens deal 1/3 or 33% of the listed alpha; therefore saturated hits will deal 1/6 or 66%, not 1/10 or 10%!!!!! 1/10 damage CAN occur due to saturation, but it is caused when both the compartment HP is gone, AND the hull HP (another hidden HP pool that can essentially be explained by saying its the reason you are able to solely spam the superstructure of BBs for example, and be able to sink them). It only applies to AP and SAP, meaning HE will do zeeeero damage!!!!! see you again in a few weeks because i want free stuff k bye luv u xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

As far as the ship being strong you have to consider that the player base most likely doesn't know how to counter this ship. A Shima going straight into a cap when this ship is on the other team should lose and it's their fault for not being aware. Most likely not super op but a potato player base that will take ages to adjust to it.

That’s one of the biggest problems with this game, the ships are so close to the same. If there was a truly OP ship, EVERY single to player would be running it, and every fleet or division would be playing it. But they are not. It’s the player, not the ship🧐

Who has analyzed that ship against all other carriers at all other tiers on all the game variations against all opponents ( ships and players ) over time to identify patterns that clearly suggest one way or another -NO one. Again, subjective opinion, especially when no one has had enuff stick time.
