I remember getting a chain message from this playoff series. It went something like "the lakers turned off the jazz music, blew up the rockets, ate the nuggets, and now its Time to make the magic disappear" haha

Man if Kobe had this type of supporting cast right away when Shaq left, he could've achieved 6-8 rings.

Correct, he would also have about 4-5 more mvps but due to the Colorado case the NBA which is a business would not have him represent them like MJ even though he was and is the better player and brought so much to the game.
@eddiepalmer9543
@eddiepalmer9543 5 жыл бұрын
Luka Zebeljan incorrect, most players could not bring their team to the finals to face Boston with the subpar lineup Bryant had. From 2005-2009 they did not really build around him as they would have an MJ or Lebron. Instead due primarily to politics they let a gasol get on the team later. They also blocked the trade for Chris Paul for the same reason.

hardwork Pays Off you forget Trevor Ariza, he helped to spread the floor and was what helped to close out games similar to Robert horry.

With the game now is being played, too many people do not understand how difficult it is to take and make those shots, those dribbles and moves he made to go by defenders and to create the space for himself was unparalleled, KD probably has the similar package but it is courtesy to his size mostly. When you take a look at the defenders Kobe was facing his whole career, it was so rare to see him playing a undersized opponent, it has always been either similar size or bigger size players guarding him, such as Kirilenko, Melo and the truth. So when you consider this factor, you could only appreciate his game even more.
