Super helpful! I am a shade tree mechanic trying to clean injectors on a 2018 Honda Fit instead of replacing them. Have the seals but had no idea how to get them on the injector. Just picked up a tool (that I hope is compatible) that should help me finish the job!

Are the Teflon rings all the same size? I just put new injectors, then i took them back out of the head because tney were in the way of getting another part out, am i now screwed and need to replace all the teflon rings again? Even though they were new and car never ran?

Even no Superlube teflon lubricant? Or creates lubricant a channel to slip pressure along? But is noted! Thanks for the tutorial. FIAT 1.8 ahead. Injectors to clean. Can a high pressure pump be clogged? Have a fail code and according hick-ups once in a while...

Yes you should

Not oil!! That might swell up the seal Silicone lubricants or even soap

This tool is next to impossible to find. The SST in the Hyundai catalogue isnt even available anymore. Are these gdi combustion seal tools pretty much standard? If so, where do you recommend I purchase without cutting off a leg?
