JustAnswer Customer: GE GTWN7450D0WW Top Load Washer display says "H2O Supply" and hums.
JustAnswer Customer: Washer won't run.
JustAnswer Customer: Display says "H2O Supply" and sounds like it's trying to pump out; water is on, household water supply is good.
JustAnswer Customer: Tried unplugging and leaving out for awhile to reset controls but just does same thing once I plug it back in.
JustAnswer Customer: Anyone ever have this issue, or know what could cause it?
JustAnswer Customer: Tired of paying the GE tech to fix this thing!
JustAnswer Customer: Thanks.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Remove the hoses from the washer and place in a bucket and turn on the water.
JustAnswer Customer: Did that, water supply shuts off and on fine.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: With good water pressure then you have a faulty circuit board that needs replaced.
JustAnswer Customer: So there are no other inputs to that logic I should check?
JustAnswer Customer: A pressure switch, drain valve, etc.?
JustAnswer Customer: Is it worth pulling out and reconnecting the cards?
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: There is a problem with the water supply.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: You can check the pressure switch.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Also turn off the water, unplug the unit.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Plug the unit back in and turn on the water supply.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: I see this question is still open.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Do you need more help?
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Post back here with anymore questions.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Thanks.
JustAnswer Customer: The washer is now fixed.
JustAnswer Customer: It appears the controls froze up and locked themselves for whatever reason.
JustAnswer Customer: Here is what I did: I located the mini manual inside the washer, and got the instructions to get the washer into service mode.
JustAnswer Customer: I did have to unlock the controls as it appeared they locked themselves when they froze up.
JustAnswer Customer: I pushed the buttons and turned the dials as instructed to get the controls in service mode, which seemed to work fine.
JustAnswer Customer: I ran through all the diagnostics, found no issues or error codes, or anything else unusual.
JustAnswer Customer: When I exited service mode, the controls reset and worked normally.
JustAnswer Customer: So no bad circuit board, no visit from the appliance tech required.
JustAnswer Customer: Maybe you could use my experience to help the next guy.
AppTech8579: Home Appliance Technician: Glad you got it sorted.
