I came across this music and this talented man by pure accident, going through KZbin one day recently. It touches my Soul, my inner Spirit, it's emotionally Spiritually uplifting, and as the comments say- it takes you back to our Ancestors , of a time, once that happened, and people lived. My father had an immense interest in the Vikings, and I find myself now at the age he was when he starred to show an interest, strange how history kinda repeats itself through generations. Keep up the great work xx👏😉👍🏻🩵🙏🏻🇬🇧

I Don't know if Bragi is his mom or whoever, but this voice sounds ok, nice. To really give a quote on that, i'd need a live experience, because one can't tell from studio recordings. Additional to that, i like to recommend Brendan M. Perry from Dead can Dance: has a slightly similar voice and often mindful awesome lyrics as well. Unfortunately i Don't understand this sangers language. Is it Íslandi or farørsk? God dag og dagliga søndagen! 🙏🏼💚🧚♂️

2.000, 3.000 years ago, our Ancestors were Neighbours, Friends, Brothers. But then the Heart of some lured them South. Since then we speak different Languages, but you make this, and all the Time in between to be forgotten. Thank You.
@e.mailissimo21469 ай бұрын
Not the heart lured them south... the cold drove them south. Why did the ancient northern germanics fear an eternal winter, by scandinavians later called Fimbulvetr? Cause in that time it was a time of cooling. This was the time when Brennus lead his tribes across the alps into italy, where they sacked rome when it was only a city state and a lot of germanic people settled in southern territories.
@oliverkrieger94139 ай бұрын
i dislike quoting Chat-GPT, and won't do that here, but even that application knows better. the causes for the migrations from scandinavia, danmark, and north-eastern europe to the south, over the span of the last 3.000 years, were diverse. while climate, changing to cold weathers and lasting winters, is considered to be one of them, it is neither the only, nor the critical one. among these causes, were overpopulation, cultural interactions, political instability in the north as much as in the south, and catastrophes, like deseases. while i know of these causes in particular, i think it is still appropriate to call this articulate will to move and settle elsewhere, a matter of heart. this, here, by the way, is not a historiology thread, nor a forum, and i find such petty arguments, when dealing with art, that shall bring us together, ill-placed.
