Seriously, this is the best video you've ever made about starting. I've sent it to a half dozen people before I even finished it and I'm coming up on 3 years as an IA

Is there still money in IA? How much are you averaging yearly income? If you don't mind. Thank you

Good afternoon! Do you have any adjusting traing school information in the following states, Ca, Fl? Please advise. Thank you!

If my budget is small can I start with at least three state licenses and have a chance of getting deployed?. I understand its recommended to get 5 or more licenses to get deployed.
@AdjusterTV8 ай бұрын
Yes, you can. Texas, Florida and Minnesota would be the first ones I would think of. But remember that your startup dollars go farthest on licenses since they open up new states for you to work.
@jessyepperson56123 жыл бұрын
How much out of pockets expenses do you take on?
@AdjusterTV3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Jessy.. Depending on the deployment, the adjuster bears all expenses. Depending on how a person sets their taxes up, they should be able to write some or most of those expenses off.

@@AdjusterTV Thanks for the response. I really like what you do with your channel. It caters to people interested, like myself, and people that have been doing it for a while like yourself.

If you get your AIC/CPCU a lot of states will waive the testing requirements for a license.

I've been using the Canon Elph series cameras and you are absolutely right, the camera doors and in/out doesn't last. Unfortunately, the Fuji XP140 is saying discontinued and is $329 on Amazon. Any other recommendations or do you think the Fuji is worth it?
@AdjusterTV3 жыл бұрын
Dangit!!! I would say that the best thing to do is to find a camera with no moving parts. Check out this video I did on the topic: www.adjustertv.com/posts/2020/10/01/adjustercamera

I don't mind work. I've done travel work as well. But I'm worried about time away from my family. Does Cat work keep you away from home a lot or does it just depend?
@AdjusterTV3 жыл бұрын
It definitely depends, but if a person wants to earn some good money, they need to be prepared to be gone a lot.

Thanks again for the response. I've learned a great deal about adjusting through this channel and look forward to more videos.

You’d be hard pressed to start daily with no experience.
@user-xz7cq2dv1q3 жыл бұрын
He talks about this in a few other videos. One way is get ready, do all of what he's talking about here, and wait until a CAT hits your area and quit your day job and work that on your first offer, then transition to clean up for that storm and then transition to daily. The other way is to just get on rosters everywhere and make it clear you ONLY want daily, Then you wait till there's a big storm that pulls away the resources in your area. The latter is how I started. Also, find a mentor, super important thing to have one, if it's a friend, a school, or one of the firms like Pilot that take newbies this will help you when you're overwhelmed and you will be.

Another way to skin this cat is to start doing photo and scope only assignments via an app like wegolook.com inspectorsondemand.com or onsourceonline.com and start learning how to scope structures and autos. You can do this kind of thing on the side before quitting your day job.
