Thanks, man. Going for Masters for the first time and I know I can make it because I've been playing Gears since the first one, and I'm pretty good. I made it to mid Diamond 3 and have wrecked plenty of Masters.. But THIS!? This aggravates beyond words. It infuriates me when on my screen, I die from some guy curving their bullets like Angelina Jolie in Wanted who shot me from behind cover with a Gnasher that wasn't even pointing at me in the slightest. Thanks for teaching me.

Really helpful stuff man. I always thought you had to move the camera all the way on to the player mid up-a before shooting by now I see you don't need to do so. Do you think you could do a video on how or why some gnasher shots just don't come out? There have been more or than a few times where I wanted my character to shoot while I'm in cover and trying to move around and sometimes nothing comes out. I don't know if I explained it all that well.

If you were playing any gears of war prior to gears ultimate edition you would have to pre move the thumbstick due to the way the animations were made. Nowadays its alot easier with the more fluid motions and higher sensitivities.

super helpful, didn't know controller overlay existed! i can wrap around shot, but i can't continue forward or backward roadie.. it looks like you hold roadie the whole time.. other thing is, i play tournament-alt, so i have to press lb to take cover, rt to shoot and then hold x to roadie, not sure if your version is possible in my settings, but will be practicing, in gears 4, of course lol

I really wish that the animations would reflect these shots. It always looks really sketchy, the pellets never go where the gnasher is pointing. I would have thought that if all these gnasher shots were normal tactics TC would make them not look like glitches/exploits

I would like to see one on how you cover switch like it's nothing. I've tried these same movements but idk if it's the keyboard or what that makes it so stiff and slow.

Playing with keyboard and mouse makes it slightly more difficult to do these moves mainly due to not having omni directional freedom on the keyboard.

@@Nephilim_JR Yeah that's how I was explaining it to a friend in my party chat about an hour ago. He said "mouse and keyboard gives you an advantage" but it's really not. I play on controller sometimes and it feels better for movement.

Yeah for most players it's a sacrifice for aim over movement. However if you know how to script controls onto a single button you basically become impossible to kill because the speed and momentum drop off doesn't occur due to the inputs being instantaneous.

@@Nephilim_JR How do you mean. The best I can do is remap to my logitech 21 button mouse. So my keyboard is strickly WASD and spacebar. EVERYTHING else is on my mouse for my thumb to use. I'm not sure about a script or if that's even technically allowed. Unless you mean a macro or something.

@@OfficialHybridSystem I'm gonna be honest I'm not 100% how this all works however there is a livestream I had seen where avexys and some other pc player were explaining this stuff. He claimed there was a way to bind the entire combo of wallbouncing into a single button input and all he had to do was move the mouse left and right. It did some fucked up animation glitches but essentially made it look like he would teleport instead of bounce. Also I believe limitless has a video on his KZbin channel explaining this.

The methodology is the same concept for tournament scheme players. The only difference is that the "a" button is replaced with the "LB" and it's easier due to your thumb always being on the right thumbstick.
