If you really want to save money on razors, skip Dollar Shave Club and go directly to Dorco, the folks they source their blades/handles from. It's even cheaper buying directly from them, plus they're usually running a sale of some sort, and you're directly supporting the company instead of paying a premium to get your razor in a slightly fancier box. I bought a handle and a set of like 26 blades several years ago and since my beard doesn't grow particularly fast I still have some left.

Ashens - Ramune is an Original soft drink invented in Japan in 1872. the gimmick was the drink came packaged in a Codd neck bottles, you used a plunger to dislodge the glass Marble to drink the soda. they are still very popular in Japan and now America has them too. Ramune is supposed to taste like Cider and has very fruity notes even though it contains NO Juice.

I’ve been using one of those cheapo Wilkinsons made mostly out of plastic with some metal in the handle for weight, it works quite well, no razor burn, and dirt cheap. I can’t really see who would order this DSC stuff...

This is gonna sound counterintuitive but if you see a coffee mug that says it can't be used in a dishwasher make sure it can actually be used for hot drinks. Yes they sell mugs you can't drink coffee in, no i'm not sure why.

If money is a real concern, I'd just go for a standard safety razor and then buying a massive pack of the standard razor blades that exist. I think it's like $0.10 per blade, so it's the cheapest option.

I think it started out as shorthand for ambergris, a natural product made by whales and used in perfumes. these days it can also mean a mix of different un-fossilized tree resins and oils. tends to be woodsy or musky with a sweet edge

I am a happy Dollar Shave Club customer since 2016 and I can say Dollar Shave Club is the best investment ever. It helps me out every month I don't drive or have a license and can barely get to the store on my own so Dollar Shave Club males me my razors every month. Now no I don't use their shea butter because my local grocery store has barbasol shaving cream for $1 but I do use the razors from Dollar Shave Club every month. I get them every 2 months because I go through a pack of razors within 2 months by the end of the second month I'm down to two razors and my razors end up showing up in the mail. Right now I have a 3 because I haven't gone through all of them yet they just keep coming and I just keep stacking them up saving them for later. Did you know that Dollar Shave Club offers toothbrushes and toothpaste as well. I got an email one day from Dollar Shave Club try our new toothbrush and toothpaste get a limited time only trial pack today. I said no thank you because I prefer to get my Crest toothpaste from the dollar store. The dollar store and what we call poundland over here in America and a dollars what we call a pound over here. To us a pound is how you measure something out you can have a pound of flour not I'm going to go to the store to buy some milk for a pound.

Honestly, I would prefer a good old safety razor which I can actually feel safe using not only for my face but for my whole body.
