The stretching part is on point. I realized that stretching after my workouts and even on rest days helps me recover fast. Great video Austin
@loodiefish24245 жыл бұрын
rocky fitness stretching doesnt improve recovery. Stretching creates muscle damage in terms of micro tears, so it actually increases the time needed to recover, however, stretching over time will increase your range of motion, which will reduce your overall soreness in the longrun, as most lifts wont place that much stress on your tendons.
@rockyfitness52725 жыл бұрын
Ludvik Renland out of experience, whenever I do a decent stretching routine on my rest days, I perform better the next day. If you don’t believe me, try it or go ahead and google it
@Swagnuz5 жыл бұрын
@@rockyfitness5272 What Ludvik said is true, however fitness is a highly individual thing so I don't doubt that it can feel better for some people and make them perform better, it also really depends on how much and how intense the stretching is

Is it best to eat your biggest carb meal post workout or biggest protein meal post workout. I heard you need to refill glycogen stores post workout so you should have biggest carb meal and it prevents the carbs being stored as fat since they go towards your glycogen store first. But then I also heard you should consume your most protein after workout because that’s when your body will better utilise it because you’ve broken down your muscles (I’m talking about weight trying not cardio) so what do you guys think? Please help me this is causing me more stress than it should haha:(
