I had this camera up until this morning. It is excellent and solid takes good pictures. Nothing wrong with it. But what I discovered was that my Google pixel takes better pictures and has higher spec. For example the Nikon1 doesn't go down below 160 ASA, my cam phone goes down below 39ASA and also has a f1.9 lens.. also the other fly in the ointment is uploading images ( i don't currently have laptop or PC) transfer of media from N1 to my phone can be a pain... Pictures taken from this phone cam are immediately uploaded to the cloud. Much more convenient.

Looks an interesting camera although for me I'd actually like less MP in a sensor that size. I've completely moved to m4/3 these days and prefer a viewfinder so it's not actually a camera I'd consider myself but I think it'll certainly appeal to people looking at moving into a mirror-less system. Nice unboxing video.

I've always been a fan of the Nikon 1 series, but hated how expensive they were. Now that the J2 and J3 are at a decent price, I was thinking of picking one up soon.

I like the direction that Nikon is heading with it's 1 system but I'll stick with my panasonic gm5 for he moment. Wouldn't mind the tilting screen and the 4k is cool even at the reduced frame rate but for most other things the little panasonic has it covered.

this lens doesn't seem to have threads for a lends hood or filters... I'm not liking the new one mount lens line up, I feel like the older j1 to j3's 10-30 was better

Yes this lens is a power zoom, so a bit limiting.

Just wondered if you are still enjoying using the J5-I am considering buying one soon. I could certainly complement my Nikon D600 and I could use the FT1 adapter and put all my Nikon lenses on it, winner.

To be honest it was a great little camera. I say was as I no longer have it but only due to it being really more than I needed. I would highly recommend it as long as your going to use it to the full potential. So no fault of the camera just my own and going beyond my depth of knowledge.

@@geekanoids My camera does not have the 4K sticker. Maybe a tweaked firmware would raise the dreaded 15 fps to at least 24 fps, but Nikon probably couldn't care less.

You realy need to speak clearer some thing cant understand. This camera isa a N I K O N not N E K O N AN IT HAS A 10X30 NOT 20X 60 LENS.This camera to small for most hands an to much work just to take simple pictures, To much for to much for the work you will have to deploy.
