This would mean now he's in his 60s Also, his Chinese zodiac is literally connected to the pokemon torchic and its evolutions. Same goes with the Mega Man X8 Maverick: Burn Rooster. And due to his Zodiac element, specializing in fire, I could see him specializing in fire types.

My favorite is when they are trying to buy the firehouse and Egon says "I think this building should be condemned. There's serious metal fatigue in all the load-bearing members, the wiring is substandard, it's completely inadequate for our power needs, and the neighbourhood is like a demilitarized zone." Clearly he and Venkman are trying to get a lower price so they can buy the building and have heaps of money for his tech, then Ray ruins it.
