I might see Megalopolis Thursday, but It’s looking like it’s going to be another big dud for Lionsgate and sadly, I don’t think it’s going to reach awards status that screams Oscar bait. Also, I went to check out “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeves Story” on Batman Day Saturday. It’s a wonderful and heartbreaking story focusing on Christopher Reeves life and career from humble beginnings to the role of a lifetime as The Man Of Steel, to the horseback riding accident that left him paralyzed, and Reeves Oscars speech from 1996 is very emotional. It’s a great documentary. Reeves is one of a kind and nearly 20 years after his death, his legacy still lives on as Superman.

I saw Beetlejuice over the weekend. Lot of kids seems to be popular among 12 and under. I thought it was good, nice effects

I think it's a bold choice to rededicate this channel to exclusively "Transformers: The Movie" related content, but I support it.

Along with a superb dining experience during the movie, your usher/waiter can also be trained in martial arts to shut up audience members when they scream and cackle during the performance. As for phones, perhaps some kind of magnetic interference field can be turned on to shut them down whenever necessary. Those couple of things will probably cover the billions they plan on spending to get folks back into auditoriums again. Oh yes, and as you mentioned, more films that can compete with everyone's assortment of media back at home, which is generally the originals of all the remakes, and prequel or sequels for whatever they're buying tickets to. P.S. Probably impossible, but less advertising would really be good as well.

I actually liked the 1986 Transformers film better than One.

I’m old enough to remember when 23 year old’s wanted to see stuff like “Pulp Fiction”, and I’m a Transformers fan. . .

Great video, James…my personal issues regarding movie going: we need 1) improved distribution for my metro area (2.6M people), 2) better, lower ticket pricing, 3) better food at better prices, & 4) better facilities & regulations. Also, I would rather see lower-budget movies, especially genre movies, in the cinema rather than on streaming, & have them look like movies & not episodes of NCIS.

Substance is next on my must see list. Halle Berry movie looks interesting, but hearing it's slow and mediocre to unsatisfying ending.

Sadly you live in NY city. My Regal theater is rarely a problem in VA. But I think most people hate rude noisy theater experiences. Also went and saw Am I racist in theater. Decent size diverse crowd. Every way laughing out loud at all the right spots. I was genuinely surprised by how funny it was.

i dont see how people will be able to stay all day tomorrow for nyff. mega is at 830 and is 3 hrs long plus 40 mins or more due to the qand a. so they wont get out til midnight or 12.15am. hopefully there will be no trailers or nicoles. i watched the substance and the different man back to back. it really interesting with their premises. the substance i loved more tho. no walkouts at my showing. wow did not expect how sub would be

I live out in the mountains in North West nj. Never ever ever dealt with any noise or trouble in the theater. Its a foreign situation to me. The only noise is laughing and clapping.

Just got out of Transformers, theater was empty but my daughter was overjoyed. I still like the original 80's cartoon but It was an enjoyable movie. By the way I appreciate how our Cinemark Orlando, is always clean, delicious popcorn, affordable and plenty of showing times.

Hollywood has this weird habit of trying to turn genocidal maniacs into sympathetic fools. Megatron doesn’t compromise. The Acolyte was like, “Sure the Sith are so cut throat they kill their own but…those damned Jedis are liars!” The Sith don’t compromise.

Pretty sure that’s just writing characters with depth, which is what more mainstream big budget movies need
