Kaleesh are prime examples of the republic’s corruption. Using them to fight a war that they kinda started by siting a coup and when invaders came to enslaved them they did nothing, and when they finally did something they fought with the invaders. In doing so they create one of their most feared and dangerous enemies. Grandson: Before he was made a machine, he sired many children, some were believed to have been killed, but some survived and had children of their own, I am the grandchild of his seventh wife. Luke: So, this is about revenge? Grandson: It is, but not in the way you expect, Your master is dead, honour demands I kill his child or successor, as you were his apprentice, that is you, but your actions here today, you saved my people and drove the empire from our home, to kill you after helping us would be a disgrace, with that scar, the debt is paid. Luke: Your grandfather may not be seen favourably by the rest of the galaxy, but I understand the pride you put into your heritage, and I'm happy to see you can put it aside for the good of your people, I do sense great power in you, you have the force? Grandson: Yes, I have survived the empire's attempts to find me, even those Inquisitors could not capture me, I have lived with my power for many years, despite the history of my people and the jedi, I would he honoured to join your order. Luke: I leaned what the old republic and jedi did to your people, what they did that drove your Grandfather to become what he was, it was a disgrace, but hopefully with time, like the wounded you inflicted, things between us can heal. (offers his hand) Grandson: (takes the hand and shakes)

So it was the Kaleesh Thrawn omega ordered! This is a tactician bar none, Sussed out Vader was Anakin by his space fighting pattern, a man who routinely out maneuvered enemy strategists as if walking across the room, so intelligent even Darth Sidious made him one of 13 grand admirals despite not being human, and only executed subordinates only when it was egregious incompetence. Mad props to the Kaleesh for stymieing the greatest tactical mind in millenia.

Not exactly. Kenobi pried the armour apart at the thorax to get a clean shot at the organ sac. The armour would have held.

It’s just a big group of clannish warrior peoples who don’t like being told what to do by outsiders. I assume we can throw in the Togorians with the rest of the Mandalorians. Might as well toss in the Cathar while we’re at it
@bigbadbob70703 жыл бұрын
@@michaelangelomaimone3181 Not sure throwing in the Cathar with the Mandalorian is a good idea since the former might still have some grievances with the latter committing acts of genocide against them a long time ago.

Good lord, good thing thw Kaleesh don't have access to blaster technology or energy blades (Or whatever those electric Magna Guard Staff ares called) Imagine if the Kaleesh could produce their own blaster and energy balde weapons, they would single handely won the clone wars and wipe out the Huk species entirely. Nevertheless, I just love the fact that in a Galaxy where everyone uses energy weapons and blades, the most badass warrior race uses ballistic weapons and regular blades and is still able to go toe to toe with basically anybody, because my man, if a warrior race is so badass that you have to bssically gave them less technology to balance them out, then my Kaleesh homies are WAY too overpowered.

It's sad that grievous started out as a good guy hunting slavers. Only to be abandoned by the jedi (even if they didn't know it would feel like the people you helped now won't help you on return). Even after that he didn't give up his fight and met a kindred spirit only for her to be killed by the species the jedi should be helping him against. Then gets sabotaged manipulated and twisted into pure evil.
