It’s the charging handle supposed to be kinda stiffer than other rifles ?
@USMC-19114 жыл бұрын
Got one myself plus a couple small orders a trigger and a couple charging handles all seperate orders , I had to wait a while but getting a few 35% coupons made it worth the wait .the build quality looks excellent and the action of the bcg is so smooth.

The coupons make it worth the wait. Down side is i will spend more now.

seriously dig the setup with that Razor Hope these come back in stock with improved QC across the board, I know after the whole shenanigans associated with the black friday drop they've marked much of their product line OOS in the meantime

I just got the 14.5 clone mod1.The mod means it has a Geissele bomb proof gas block instead of the DD mk12 gas block.The lower is a Colt m4a1socom with Magpul grip and a improved Vltor stock.The flip up sights are Magpul pro the light is a Surefire 300 mini and the optic is a ta31rco.I haven't taken it to the range yet but if it performs like my Colts it's a keeper.

Great video and great upper. Pretty impressive shooting and hoping the suppressor was the culprit for all that heat but the rail is still regarded as one of the best mlok. Shot a super duty and just feels heavy duty.

you should do an accuracy portion of the video. Those are always interesting.

I hope to do that soon and post another video.

For geissele money you can get a knights. I learned that a knights can go 20k rounds with zero cleaning, zero oil, zero nothing. So I bought one. I’m over 10k rounds without oil or cleaning and I’m still shooting 1-1.5 moa. Zero malfunctions.

where can you get an knights for 2k? I've seen them 2900- 3500

How does the Geissele REBCG clean up? Does the carbon clean up any easier especially on the bolt tail?
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
I will know soon. I actually have not cleaned it yet. Other than an initial cleaning out of the box that has been it. I just keep putting Slip 2000 on the bolt. I am teaching a class with it tomorrow and plan to clean it this weekend or the first of next week. I will let you know.

I finally cleaned the rifle for the first time. This is the first bolt carrier group I have purchased other than a mil-spec finished one. I was really impressed. It was very dirty from shooting exclusively suppressed but cleaned up very easily. Whatever coating they are using works really well.

DBTN Thanks for the reply. There isn’t a lot of reviews of the G REBCG and was just wanting to know if it’s worth the purchase👍🏻

Yeah I only have about 350 rounds through mine so far. I haven’t had a problem so far. What buffer system are you using?
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
I am using the Geissele Super 42 with H3 buffer

How much did you pay for it on Black Friday? I paid $800 for one today. Trying to see if I got a good deal. Thanks
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
That is a good deal. I think I paid a little less than that but it was Black Friday.

What do you think of this upper a year later?
@SW-ii5gg3 жыл бұрын
I would like to know as well, the Super Duty is one of the few rifles I would pay that kind of money for instead of putting one together myself because it has about everything I would want in it all ready.

How is the blowback when you’re running suppressed?
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
This is my first centerfire suppressed rifle. I have shot others but not extensively. Therefore, I do not have a large base for comparison but I do not find it to be bad or distracting.

Did you try bench resting groups on it to see it’s accuracy yet? I’ve heard a lot of chatter on the internet about it’s accuracy, don’t know if it’s bs or not. Great video, thanks for making it. Would love to see more vids with this upper if you have the time. Thanks.
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
I have not had a chance to put it on a rest at distance. I hope too soon. I have only taken it back to 200 utilizing prone or braced positions.

DBTN - What was the accuracy MOA at 200 like (roughly - ballpark)? Just curious. Thanks, great video.
@MrDbtn4 жыл бұрын
I was shooting an A-C zone size steel target and 8" steel plate. I did not put it on paper. I was just looking for hits on steel which it did very well.
@MrChuckwagon554 жыл бұрын
DBTN - Cool, that sounds awesome. That’s very impressive accuracy for a 11.5” at that range. Thanks for the info and response. Appreciate the video too, very informative and well done. Thank you.
