So they buffed all the bosses in this campaign, and that's why it took me a while to finish this run.
The armor i use in the final battles called Donovan set. You need to find all 100 skulls and give them to Red. With this armor Specter Knight can also perform some nice moves. Sorry, Plague Knight, but you are no longer the best dancer in the Order.

I like how when Baz shows up in this campaign, Specter just gets annoyed at how people keep breaking the windows and tells him to leave. No boss fight, just "no, dude, you're lame, leave"

Specter of Torment is the reason I went back and replayed Shovel Knight's campaign from the beginning again. it really made me hate the Enchantress more than I already did, which is great because she's not just some villainess without personality now. Makes me wonder what they'll pull off with her in King Knight's campaign.

Yeah my biggest issue with Plague of Shadows is how unfitting Plague Knight's control scheme is for some of the later, harder levels, especially in the airship levels.

Actually Plague controls very smoothly, just set the bomb burst to R2/RT. Believe me, it is amazing. I mastered him after just a couple of hours in this way. Now I use R2 to attack with Shovel and Specter too. Specter doesnt really need it but R2 is better for Shovel due to his charged attack and the fact that attacking bosses while airborne is useful for speedrunning. R2: bombs, square: sub weapons, X: jump and Plague becomes a beast.

JAYMUN _13 it does not actually turn him back into donavan as for this is just pure magic, or VRish, I dunno how to explain but even when with the donavan skin, he still eats rotten apples and rib cages even tho humans shouldn’t eat those and the only one we have proof of eating those is Specter Knight therefor proving that the face he makes may not be his actual face but is fully magic, or VRish, also look at Donavan Skin Wiki, that sheds more like on this subject :)))))

if you take the oath at the end to mean more than just dying to protect somebody, and to also mean "giving yourself up" to keep another person safe, your feelings probably stem from the fact that donovan willingly let himself be enslaved by the enchantress so reize wouldn't suffer that fate... literally "lay down my life to save his"

Asdf Sdfsdf it auto saves before fighting the final boss, so whenever you die, you just get right back into fighting him, same with the bosses of all the other campaigns.

1. King of Cards King Knight wanted to become the King of Crads. Not much of evil stuff is going on in this campaign (Until the End) 2. Spectre of Tourement This Campaign starts during King Knights Campaign. The Enchentress is trying to build up her order of no quarter 3. Shovel of Hope/Plague of Shadows This tow Campaigns are playing at the same time. Shovel Knight is trying to find Shield Knight, while Plague Knight is trying to brew the Ultimate Potion.

Plague Knight _is_ canon, it takes place alongside Shovel Knight's story. Meaning Plague reached each boss either right before, or right after SK did. IIRC the tower falling down in Shovel Knight's campaign IS because of Plague Knight's ending, not what Shovel Knight did.

I think the general idea is that Plague Knight's campaign takes places like...30 seconds to 5 minutes before/after Shovel Knight's. They're constantly _almost_ crossing paths (you can even see Shovel Knight in some places where Plague Knight is more or less out of sight, like in some of the towns/outposts), but they only actually bump into each other twice for the boss fights.

For plague knight, Pay Percy 50 Cipher coins at Armor Outpost, then conquer the armor outpost and buy a Troupple Chalice from a Troupple Acolyte there. after that, go to Troupple Pond and Troupple King will sell you "armors." For Specter Knight, pay gold to the... uh.. vase on the second platform of first floor. When you pay enough, a beast will appear and sell you armors.

Dark Reize is a piece of shit boss in NG+. Even though he's a one time story related boss he such a pain to deal with due to his long melee range/auto-counter boomerang attack for your dash & slash and his SUPER annoying boomerang attacks that cover most if the entire arena. This is the only boss that gives me such trouble. Luckily with this video I'll have an easier time with him. He's still a piece of shit though.
