I am new at making bread, my husband's idea. I used this dough recipe and added 1 tbsp. of Italian seasoning and a 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese. It turned out fabulous! Lots of flavor. Thank you for this great CRAZY dough recipe!

I finally got around to making crazy dough and my cheesy bread turned out amazing! I cant believe how easy it was to make (and how long it takes to let the dough rise 😥) and my whole family loved it! A tip for making your bread crust extra cripy and crunchy (if thats what you wanna go for) is to put a pan of water in the oven rack below your bread while cooking & it'll make your bread super crisp while keeping the inside soft and fluffy!

Hi Gemma, I’ve just made your Crazy Dough Bread! It’s absolutely fantastic, been trying to make a decent loaf for ages to no great success. Mainly because most of the receipts for so called 1st time loaf making basically assume you know what you’re doing, so the instructions leave a lot be desired! Your instructions are very informative and easy to follow, showing what to expect at each stage. Thanks very much.

I found your crazy dough bread series while searching for a fluffier flattbread. I took your suggestion and made half for 6 naans and the other half for 2 small cheesy bread loaves. Both turned out ridiculously soft and delicous! Thank you for the fun and easy to follow video. You now have a new enthused student and subscriber.

True this! soften the onions in some butter before you add them, you can do this with garlic too! :)

I am 10 ,hence use my mums account and I literally freaked out when she told me that she was one of your clients when you did catering!! Zenaida, yes, you can. You can refridgerate it up to 3 days and freeze it even longer. Up to one month recommended.

What a fabulous recipe and the fact that it can be frozen is even better. I always find it strange seeing "American" butter being spread onto bread, it always looks so light and whitish in colour, almost like margarine. Our beautiful Irish butter is always so creamy and yellowish in colour. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks Gemma. Lee x

But it's the food colouring that makes the butter look great. I prefer the pure and pale-looking Dutch butter. Great recipes, Gemma.

I just made this cheesy bread, and also sprinkled some parmesan cheese on the top. Really good, and I love the texture of the bread. I also made pizza crust - another winner! I still have 1/4 of the dough left and will probably make more pizza, or maybe try the naan. Thank you for sharing! (will try your frozen ice cream and yogurts next!)

I love this dough. I am doing it for the second time. You mentioned that you can leave it in the fridge for up to 3 days. It has done the first prove. How do I prep it from the fridge? Does it need to sit until room temperature or can I just shape and leave it for the second prove?

Yes, well thought out, form it, then leave it to prove. It will ferment a little, so be prepared for a stronger/sourdough taste. (www.biggerbolderbaking.com/best-ever-pizza-dough/) you may like this recipe too :)

I make pizza with whole wheat flour (atta).as my kids loves pizza. Don't know about other things. But there will be difference in taste. As for Nan real joy is in white flour😀

This is the second time I made this dough. And I can put it in the fridge or freezer the remaining dough. I used semolina when I roll the dough it gives crunchness

Yes, but this is a big question, as mousse can be different things to different people. gelatin can be replaced by Agar Agar/China grass/Carrigeen moss, all of which are plant based jelling agents. Do a little research around these things, and mousse too! :)

ive made this dough so many times sometimes with yogurt and egg, sometimes with buttermilk. when i dont have yogurt and egg i use buttermilk in place of both and it works really well!
