HDR 400 is what you should use, always. HDR 1000 is dogshit, it dims the image so much majority of the scenes are massively underbrightened. So "HDR 400 True Black" is actually noticeably brighter than "HDR 1000" in almost all scenes.

Easiest way to avoid burn-in on OLED is to just not use it for productivity - if it's not powered on at all outside of gaming/movies/TV, that alone guarantees longevity. I am a software engineer by day. I use a pair of cheap 32" 4k 60Hz VA monitors for work. These are absolutely terrible for games - but perfectly fine for work. My day job simply does not benefit in any way from triple digit refresh rates or perfect blacks or whatever. When I'm done with work and want to do some PC gaming, I switch to my 27" 1440p 240Hz OLED monitor - which is still in pristine condition since I bought it a year ago, thanks to the simple precaution of not using it for my day job.

Hey, does anyone else have issues running this monitor at 1440p? I use lower resolutions a lot for higher fps or to save power (normally 1600 to 1800p). However, at 1440p there's a sluggishness as if playing locked at 60fps. Update: that's because the screen's refresh rate (for some reason) DOES fix itself to 60fps and is desynced from a game's FPS. Further proof of a desync issue at 1440p is that screen tearing is insane when the screen does not lock itself to 60hz (almost seems to do this at random). Note: 1440p is the ONLY resolution that does this, all others (higher or lower) do not. If somebody else can confirm whether this is a widespread issue that would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

It is being driven by an RTX 3080 and the screen randomly goes black for a couple of seconds no matter if gaming or just in Windows 11 desktop. I checked online and there are loads of people reporting the same problem. I updated the Windows drivers for it but made no difference. I am ready to box it up and send it back but the picture is fantastic. Have been wondering if there are some settings that I am missing. HDMI cables are the ones supplied and I have also tried some top class brand new cables. No difference. Any one had this problem and sorted it. None of the reviews mention the problem. My old monitor runs perfectly - never experienced this problem before.

I also have this monitor and the RTX3080, try disabling NVIDIA G-SYNC. The other candidate is DSC (switching it to 'Console Mode' via the OSD and setting it to 'Legacy device' which is only available with an HDMI 2.1), but disabling DSC will limit the refresh rate available to 120 Hz.
