Well in The Bible it says that to whomever a person consummates with they are ETERNALLY BOUND together in spirit so…. Which is the entire reason God Designed The SACRED Covenant and unity of marriage which is to be shared between 1 man and 1 woman (2 souls) sharing their lives together as ONE always and forevermore amen…. #Marriage #Family #Love #Life #PERIOD 💖🙏💫 #God’sWay 💕

At the end of the day, no one can cheat God. He told us beforehand that anyone who joins themselves with a prostitute (any partner you're not married to in this case) has become one flesh with him/her. Yet we flipped it and let it be that instead of bondage we get freedom. The devil lied and we believed it and it's caused pain and hurt. But thank God that he delivers

I’m 20 and I never understood hookup culture and always had a feeling of repulse by it. I wish dating can be like how it was decades ago where it simply meant taking someone to go to a carnival or the movies and drop them off at their parents’ house and things gradually build up through time. Now you got the media spreading things like “Netflix and chill” or “nut and go” and the backwards mindset of getting physical with someone before having an emotion connection. It’s honestly depressing to me

Now just to get it out of schools. I have a whole list of videos and book titles parents are fighting to get out of schools that school boards are suddenly allowing. Whether it’s straight porn or gay porn, it’s got 0 education value and needs to go (the books I’m referring to are not sex-Ed). Purely pleasure and inappropriate. They used to be marked as 18+. It’s crazy to me what’s happening. What happened to M-Mature ratings???

I thank you for this. As a married woman, I find much more fulfillment in marriage than "committed relationships," before I came to Christ. Hookup culture is so detrimental because it can lead to broken families and fighting exes and attachments that are hard to let go of and risks STIs. There's so much risk that God wants to keep us from. He knows what's best and requires this for our good.

It is so spectacular that the science being discovered about how we bond with our romantic partner- our forever “person”- lines up perfectly with God’s will for us and how He created us, humans, to be. We are made to be a monogamous “species” with one mate for the rest of our lives, all shown by the very chemicals of our brain. But you do not need to take a biology class to understand that sleeping around is destructive.

Thanks for the video Isaac. I have seen how hookup culture can ruin a relationship. I'm also reminded of a book that I read. It gave an example of how emotionally connected people can become. Take two pieces of construction paper and glue them together. Then try to pull them apart after the glue dries. You can't do it without tearing one or both of the pieces of paper.

I’ve always saw something wrong with hook up culture. My parents have been committed to each other from day one. Before their marriage and continuing to now. Likewise with my grandparents, tias, tío’s, etc. Always viewed relationship as being you and your future husband/wife. My mind was clouded by pornography for a while, clouding my judgement till college where I saw how this wasn’t what God wanted for me or any of us. I’m 4 days clean thanks to the Lord, I’m becoming better for His sake and there’s a person who’s caught my eye and I want to overcome it for her. But not just her, my primary reason is Him because He didn’t and doesn’t want that for me, and wants me to be more for my future wife. Hook up culture simply demeans both sexed as nothing more than sex objects and nothing less.

People think that sleeping around with others seems simple on paper. Simple on paper doesnt mean simple in practice. There's a ton of complicated emotions and conditions attached with love & intimacy. Of course people arent realizing everything there is to know about love because they want what looks "fast & easy", rather building something beautiful and respectful for eachother.

As a former promiscuous person, I can attest to how destructive this kind of behavior is. I was the definition of “daddy issues” and I hated myself. I became addicted to alcohol because I wanted to escape my reality. By the grace of God, I am still here and all glory to Him because He is using one of the most broken vessels to encourage others to come to Him. If there are any virgins reading this, know how truly valuable your body is and protect your heart and mind by not engaging is sexual behavior until you are married. All the reassurance bull crap MOST women say they seek that most men are automatically gonna provide and shouldn't have to prove it. (Learn to take a leap of faith, the trust part comes later). Notice I said "most" because I'm not trying to generalize, they're are good women out there (very fucking rare, might as well say that good women are endangered and almost extinct.) All the mind games you do like not texting back right away, testing our patience and all that. Why didn't you initiate the first move? Fear of rejection? Not an excuse. Sorry you got hurt, get over it. Sorry for my rant. I know there are still good women and men out there, but all I see is condescending and bitter behavior from one gender to another, when we need to start encouraging and be more uplifting, more empathetic towards one another. And stop slutting around. I ain't just pointing fingers at one gender either. Both men and women need to stop being promiscuous. If you have daughters in the future, you better teach them to wait till marriage if you don't want them making the same mistake you did. The whole sex is empowering is all bullshit. And in fact, that's what I was. And I have always believed in Jesus, but I have to say that I never truly grasped what it meant to repent until I had this to repent from. Because the fact is, hooking up was fun. It felt good...at that moment. But it always left me with nothing but emptiness the next day, when I was once again alone in my apartment. The good thing through all of this was I never pursued a relationship with a female even though I had many female friends who I had feelings for. Paul Washer had a great sermon on Are you ready for a relationship? and his way of that was we can't fulfill each other's expectations and marry a woman God wants us to marry not just some beautiful woman we find that's Hollywood love. That's not real love but we need more Christian men who can fulfill intimacy and love in a marriage to give their lives to. When each of us get married, we're made into one flesh according to 1 Corinthians 6:16. Men have to man up so we're supposed to carry burdens and cast all our cares out for Christ. It's disgusting why hookup culture exists. I struggle with lust but I pray about it as I seek God each day on it so I can become clean and have God lead me into a relationship someday.

And one has to be willing, you have to willfully put out the sin also but most importantly it's by working in spirit and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. We should not be deceived by sin, a lot of spiritual happening is hidden concerning lust because we are not in the holy spirit. I would love to share a video link and a podcast I listened to and really opened my understanding We are limiting ourselves of the power God has giving us, the devil is using all this not to see who we really are in Christ, the bible says he has not giving us the spirit to be fearful slaves or slaves to sin, that been said there are also spiritual lie that keeps us bound, truth is you are a child of God and you have the holy spirit within you that you should not be slave to any sin, start training yourself into that truth, God bless you 🙏✝️

@@Identityinchrist_ I appreciate the last part. That's what I needed to hear is start training in the truth we shouldn't be slave to our sins as we have to allow the holy spirit to work and live in us. We're a slave to sin by allowing the door to be open and letting the devil to make us feel fearful that we can't overcome that sin.

Helpful video. The only thing I missed is that God didn't put these rules to limit us, as the culture pretends. They pretend we have to be more liberal and free sexually, and that God just doesn't want us to be happy and satisfied. They couldn't be more wrong! It is for our protection. God's law in this, protects us from broken hearts, emptiness, sicknesses, diseases and a destruction in our lives and the lives of others. God is truly good, and so are His ways :)

I have seen the damage that being promiscous has done to people and its not worth it, the damage that it does to the mind, body, soul and spirit. In as much I love love and desire a godly marriage and relationship, I appreciate my single season though sometimes I may crave for a relationship I choose to honor my future husband in my waiting and build for myself and my future family and if it doesn’t happen that i find my beloved. I choose to be contented and honor God all days of my life.

Same! Single, but it's hard not to be overcome by the burden of fear of relationships. I vacillate between thinking that (1) I desire a wonderful marriage with a wonderful Christ-like man of integrity and honor to raise a large family until death do us part and (2) Eww, men are all gross chaos-inducing selfish creatures who only cause pain, strife, and destruction in every direction they breathe ... I don't think I want to take on the risks of relationships, because nothing is guaranteed, and men can still bring problems into a marriage from his actions, so I will die alone and volunteer at an orphanage since I love kids so much!😅

What makes it worse is that marriage is often seen as "unworkable" or flawed. But people sleep around and do their souls, bodies and future relationships damage and then blame the institution of marriage. Great video. Hooking up leaves you lonely in the end. People are not realizing what’s meaningful in the end. Hook up casual practices are bigger than a personal choice. It’s become an expectation now as it’s grossly rampant. Men and women stopped having respect for their bodies and giving themselves away like its no big deal. I’m in my 40s and single. It’s so sad that most men expect the hookup and casual mind. So yes, it’s bigger than do you. It adversely affects the social norms of what a relationship means. Not to mention the various illnesses transmitted is pretty bad. Pornography is also to blame for this mindset just as much.

No. It's women that have done that. Only 10% of men get to participate. 50% of men aged 28 are virgins. The average number of partners for a woman at that age is 25...twenty-five. This is a one-sided problem. There's nothing that the average guy can do but give up on love and find purpose through contribution...which is what we are doing.

Definetly. I hope they realize that this is indeed cancer to relationships. I got a friend who is really dear to me who tough he knew my Christian ethics regarding to sex, he thought I would agree with him when he asked: "But sex is no big deal man, just an act between 2 ppl. U agree with that, right? "Couldn't disagree more, no way. If that was true than why is it such an abomination to force this 'no big deal' upon someone to a point there's a name for that, and is a heinous crime that traumatized the victims?" He stopped, thought a little and said: "Dude ya got a point there, I admit it. But the thing is that when I was a virgin, I saw sex as this biiiig deal and after that I was like 'meh, no big deal'". What I found interesting in this conversation is that he pretty much proved why the easiness to have sex these days makes it not a big deal indeed. So in a sense he's 100% right. ANYTHING you can get your hands on easily becomes "no big deal". Although he's against casual sex he has a girlfriend, so to him it was far easier than it used to be when ppl had to wait for marriage bc there was no contraceptive, wich made it far more rewarding

I went to school a LOT later in life and it was for a purpose to get a degree to shoot people....with radiation. Radiological mercenary if you will... But nowadays where people have to be addressed by what they feel they identify as based on a crazy understanding of gender and how all the science and education can be snuffed out if I address someone wrongly based on their fluid gender for the moment....makes for a challenging time.... But that is another topic that people don't like to discuss often.....like when I'm told not to discuss politics and religion at work...cuz they lead to arguments.... if I ignore the gov't...do they ignore my paycheck? 😅🤣😂 Or take the equal opportunity employment thing... sure... Too much stuff gets thrown into the category of ....if you don't have anything nice to say...don't say it...and while people that know the truth say nothing...plenty of other voices are willing to have their own opinions and just being nice doesn't fix anything long term....sorry for the long rant. Well, I don’t know about this. I’m almost 23. Never been into a relationship as well. I went to public school all my life. But I was too confused to actually go and do something. Also very self conscious about my body. Getting a girlfriend, getting married, having kids. These were all things that I put on a pedestal. If I would get that, all of my problems would be solved. Do I still want those things, yes. But I understand that even if something happens, like I die or never marry, I’m still going to praise God. I would recommend to read Corinthians. Especially 1 Corinthians 7. I had to understand that marriage is not the end goal. There are so many other things that God has for us. We just have to put ourselves out there so that God could use us as vessels. In terms of autism, I have a friend that has autism as well. But that doesn’t stop him from going and talking to people. He was homeschooled too. And he has better luck with gurls than even me. You have to start treating people like sons and daughters of God. Go talk to them like you would to any other person. You don’t have to put them on a pedestal. Make them look like, a “prize”. God bless you man. I know that it’s hard. A lot of times I still think about it. But then I keep my eyes on the end goal and choose to look at Christ. Either that be the bible, or going to a bible study, or a youth night. Happiness is not guaranteed anywhere in the bible. But Joy is. And it’s better than happiness. Happiness goes away. Joy doesn’t if it is in Christ.

I feel like hook up culture is the equivalent of Satan whispering into the ears of people and asking, "Did God really say, to save sex for marriage?" Satan definitely plays with deceit, by trying to get people to question God and make Him out to be stingy. However, God knows what is best for us, which is why he is so adamant about fleeing from sexual immorality. With that said, God can forgive anyone who sleeps around - that is exactly what Jesus died on the cross for. But that doesn't give us a license to sin - instead, turn away!

The devil has sold us this "no big deal" lie and has used it to afflict this generation. Fornication and promiscuity is sin and just like all sin it leads to death which can realise itself in many ways. Death is the system working in this world that causes depression, disaster, retardation, failure, hardships and all these things that came as result of sin entering into the world and maturing. That's why we need salvation,to break out of the cycle and be free to live above sin and death as a system. When we believe the lies the devil tells, sin thrives and becomes norm and we draw farther away from the almighty God. Satan loves this I pray this friend of yours finds salvation
