As an Army Veteran from the same era (1983-1986) I can say those Rangers restrained themselves (if there really were zero fatalities as reported), I was an 11B (Infantry) & 15D (Lance Missile Crewman) and if my Infantry buddies and I mixed it up with gangbangers there would have definitely been fatalities, and Rangers in the 75th Ranger Regiment are considered Special Forces…….they had to have been restraining themselves.
