Nah I disagree, I've worked customer service in the past and work construction now, And I'd say customer service is alot less stressful

You have a shitty foreman. Construction wasn’t too bad from my experience. I’m an engineer and if they paid the same I would do construction.

@@Dylan_Lino 🤣 if you can't handle a little sh** talk and a sun tan I can see how it could be. I've worked construction or farming for most of my life, I spent summers in HS trying out lifeguarding, summer camp mentoring, working at A&W and a local coffee shop. I'll take being a bottom barrel laborer over those annoying a$$ jobs every day of the week.

I worked as a cashier for a grocery store in high school. Motivated me to peddle lawn care with a buddy the summer after. Pulling weeds by hand in the southern sun for hours was 100x better than customer service. Anything that requires you to interface with the general public is torture 💀

I've only ever worked white collar since college, which is lucky in a sense, but completely soul crushing. The lack of fulfilment really affects your mind even if you aren't struggling for money.
@zackkassner337427 күн бұрын
Perfectly fine to not like your job and feel burnt out man. You gotta find something else to get that fulfillment because in todays society it won’t be from your job.

There is data that suggests listening to an audio book is a better way of retaining the information than actually reading the book. It was discovered decades ago when a study wanted to compare Television, radio and reading. Radio came out on top which is basically the same as listening to an audio book.

I worked a cash register at Walmart for Christmas as a second job. It was ok. I went back a couple years later to do it again, and they said I had to go through 7 days new employee orientation. I said I already worked here before, put me on the floor on a register or I walk. They said, nah fam it's mandatory. I walked out. I'm not going to be treated like a little baby b***h.
