If you watched scrims the past few days, that blow up was coming. There's been several games where Timmy will be comming "listen, listen" and has to repeat that multiple times because Dez is still talking over him, Dez doesn't trust their calls and doesn't want to match their playstyle still. They all agreed to pet Timmy IGL for now so he needs to let Timmy learn the role, otherwise what was the point of letting Timmy lead - if it doesn't work then Dez can take over, they already agreed on that

Gen and Timmy I think work well together. Timmy on MnK with an aggressive play style and Gen on roller without roller brain meshes really well. This particular clip wasn't bad other than Dezign really didn't need to talk. I know people hate on Dezign but Dezign didn't need to say anything other than callouts. In fact I think Timmy and Gen probably could have won that game as a duo. Timmy and Gen were on the same page and calling out to each other while Dezign wasn't trusting his team and was in fact yapping from their perspective. I mean what Dezign said wasn't bad but Gen and Timmy both already knew everything he was saying.

This might be one of the few times I'm on Dezign's side, first of all he hardly 'counter called' Timmy, he wasn't pissed or stressing the comms badly and he was right teams with Pathy, Newcastle and Crypto can attempt making a play for their position, he was mostly saying to chill, they'll kill each-other, just maintain position on the bridge because that's the winning spot and the reason he was emphasising it because he KNOWS Timmy sometimes will tunnel in on getting a kill and can even attempt a play on dropping low ground to get his finish, especially for someone who usually plays a character like Pathy that allows him to do so.

timmy falling down was is mistake and he called it right when it happened but what gen is annoyed at is when they have the bridge and there were no chance for the bottom 2 teams to push them, timmy knocked 1 but couldnt finish because dezign kept counter calling. After that right before they won timmy cracked 2 and just needed them to peek and they kill them but dezign was still counter calling. They could have gotten 1-2 extra kp. After watching this a second time I don’t think the com’s was to bad tbf, there was a lot of yapping and it did sound a lil hectic at times but they all had valid call outs on different elements which kept all angles covered. Timmy still had the main lead and they all kept on his play which secured them the win. In Dezigns n Gen’s defence, end games can get so intense it’s hard not to get vocal especially when they’re both passionate players and have both igl’ed, that spent energy in game is why they were feeling a little emotionally drained after. My only critique through observation would be Timmy working on knowing when to push and when not to, he sometimes gets tunnel vision when he engages in fights and must remember he’s still responsible for their positioning and his teams life’s. Gen and Dezign need to tame it down a little but not fully because i still believe they need to relay valid information for Timmy to make the best decision.

Even though I dont think Dezign's calls were bad. Them not listening to Timmy's calls actively hurts his growth as an IGL, whether it's a good call or not.

end take i dont fully agree with. it is a counter call at the end of the day if youre going out of your way to respond to every call out with stay safe and watch flank when their trynna make plays. Say it a couple times in case they forget and keep rolling, ever since they started leaving the highground to take bridge he was nonstop talking over them about being safe. The countercalling can mess up peoples thinking in fast situations

The job of the IGL is to direct others, not just to hold Kraber and yell, "Play on me!" I thought Dezign's late-game calls were better from a play-calling perspective. Timmy didn't have a plan for the ring closing and just repeatedly yelled to look here, look there, etc. I kept waiting for Dezign to yap a bunch more, but the 3 of them all comm'd the same amount. Also wanna point out it's a terrible idea to go into the next game with the argument ongoing.

I've been saying this...Dezign keeps "counter calling". A member should not counter call the IGL because it makes the IGL more hesitant and confuses everybody. It shows that he's not trusting and/or respecting TImmy as IGL.

Obviously it's easy to sit here as an observer and point out what was right and what wasn't. I genuinely think that all 3 of them were correct at some points and incorrect at some points. - Dezign was making a good call about slowing down, letting them fight, and staying on the bridge. I actually fully agree with that call and it did get them the win. However, he's not the IGL, so he needs to let his thought be made once to the team/Timmy, and then be okay with Timmy's call because Timmy is the IGL. He then needs to commit to Timmy's call 100% whether it's the right call or wrong one, which he did. - Gen's gameplay was solid from start to finish, unsurprisingly. He did a good job of not increasing the chaos in the comms during gameplay. However, I thought that the *way* he spoke at the end wasn't great for team morale. Even though I completely agree with his statement about messy comms, if he's heated after that, take a pause and a breath, and then speak. His point was good, but it might be lost because of the tone/way he spoke may make others feel defensive. - Timmy is obviously has one of the greatest sets of hands of any gamer on Earth. Nothing to say there. However, he tends to tunnel and excessively comm. I think Timmy really needs to practice slowing his comms down and just speaking once; even if it's at the expense of throwing a few scrims. I think it's better to come last in scrims but learned something from it and create new muscle memory in the process than it is to win scrims and still make the same mistakes. While these are critiques, I do want to say that I really enjoy this team. I like all the players, both together and individually, and I think they have a genuine chance of big things. I'm a fan of all of them and I hope great things are to come! :)
