Listening to Zach talking about his cancer, reminded me when my grandfather fell and broke his hip, had surgery to repair it and a couple weeks later he died from lung cancer. We believe that he would have lived a long, because they opened him up to repair his hip, the cancer was able to spread throughout his body.

My son was circumcised. Your doctor will ask you before delivery at an appointment. It’s done on day 2 of life in the hospital. My mom currently has colorectal cancer. She’s done chemo pills and radiation and is now doing chemo via a port in her chest. Surgery will be in her near future.

🤗Hi guys, my Dad wasn't circumcised when he was a baby and when he was in his I think early to mid 50's he had to have it done because the skin started to strangle and cut the blood off. It was way worse to have it done as an older man he said then what it would have been when he was a baby. Just thought I would let you know that things like that can happen. Sending HUGS to you all. Zach my mum literally had the same thing 1 lump doctors wouldnt listen until it was the size of grape, they got rid she then had second lump appear but didnt say anything until we could physically see it (it was on her scalp) on examination we found a third! Luckily they realised there mistake with the 1st lump and got them removed much quicker. I wanted to tell you this because she is absolutley fine now cancer free, I know its incredibly incredibly scary but people can get cancer free, and my mum has other illinesses too. Im so sorry to hear you are dealing with this and thank you for sharing. The very best wishes for good news to come ♥️

Prayers that all is well, Zack. My husband spent this year receiving, and healing from, radiation and chemo for head and neck cancer. Positive attitude was vital in getting him through the treatment. But due to the effect of the radiation on his neck, he found the following things invaluable: Biotene Dry Mouth rinse, Aquaphor applied after each treatment, Healios drink mix to help keep mouth sores from forming, and a simple baking soda-salt-water rinse throughout the day. Each of these things were recommended and/or approved by his oncologists, but, obviously check with your’s to see if these things are right for you. His doctors were amazed at how well he handled the treatment and he has been given the all clear and is now in the process or regaining his energy and strength that the chemo took away. Stay strong, stay positive, and stay close to your friends. The laughter you all provided this last year truly helped me deal with what we were going through so I know it’ll be great medicine for you as well if you do end up having to have radiation. Thanks for making me laugh when sometimes it was hard to find a reason to smile this year guys! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas from West Virginia.

It was called ‘Lunacy’ for a reason… the crazies (lunatics) come out on a full moon! I know from experience how it affects moods, my ex husband and our daughter both get extremely irritable around the full moon! My mum was a social care worker in a mental health respite home and she always hated working at that time because they would all be kicking off! So there is 100% a link. Zach I’m sending you love and prayers. Cancer sucks, but you can and will get through it. My mum had lymphoma 10 years ago but thankfully she is still here to tell the tale. My ex had melanoma which led to stomach cancer so fought cancer 3 times in just over a year but has just had the all clear and doesn’t need to be seen for 3 years! ❤ xx

If someone has something they want to save for the podcast, I believe most phones have a notes app on their phone so you can jot down things as you think of them to bring up during the podcast in case you forget. I have to save things on my phone all the time so I remember to do them.

I work in the Healthcare world. When it's a full moon, or new moon, or any kind of change in the solar system. Let me tell you people are very different with their behaviors. Usually leading up to or afterwards for a few days. It's crazy. 🤪 I have watched another Vlogger for many years. Their daughter has Autism and when she is having a 'moment', they will ask her, "Where is your head, your eyes, your nose?" She then will point to all of these things & she calms down & is in much a better mood. Zach, I am sending you healing thoughts and prayers. 🙏

What's fascinating is that I've seen so many videos on studies showing toddlers (male and female) gravitating toward certain things. Boys gravitated toward guns, trucks, and war-related toys, while girls gravitated toward dolls and domestic toys.

Years ago, for whatever reason talking with the family after a holiday meal we got on the topic of circumcision. My mom decided to share that my father wasn't circumcised. I told her I could have lived the rest of my life NOT knowing that information... I have no idea why he wasn't or if his brothers weren't too and I really don't want to know that either. My nephew had to get re-circumcised because I guess they didn't do it right the first time so they did it again when he was around 3. Poor kid. It's harder when they are older than when they are newborns. We got him a huge Ninja Turtle action figure after the surgery.

We have 2 boys and I'm due with our 3rd boy in 7 weeks. They all are circumcised, just like my husband. Wasn't ever even a question for me if they were getting circumcised. Our boys got circumcised the day after they were born, before we got discharged. Didn't have to make a separate appointment.

Sadly, kids today will never experience the amazing fun and joy of hanging with friends outside, playing ball, climbing trees, or whatever the way WE grew up. My niece and nephew who were born in 1999 have only known technology (and not like that's bad or anything) but they never had the experience of playing outside with friends til mom call us in for dinner. All they know is "Where's the Wi-fi". My brother and I used to play outside all the time. He'd play football on the street with his friends while my friends and I were the cheerleaders. We'd play kickball, football, climb trees, play hide and seek. We actually enjoyed the outdoors and being kids. Today's kids are more into either video games (which I love) or worrying about being the top dogs on social media. I know times change, but I feel like this generation is missing out on the little things that actually make memories worth remembering.

Also getting them circumcise helps prevent yeast infections and other bacteria from hiding in the boy parts. I have two boys, and also have family that has experience in the medical field so I'm speaking from experience. Honestly it's really better to get the procedure done and I would recommend it. It's heart breaking to see them cry but it didn't last long And it makes for a better future when it comes to keeping it clean and preventing infection.

They circumcise for alot of health reasons but it’s always the parents decision until said person is old enough to decide if and when it’s needed. Muslims do circumcise, but it’s not traditionally done right away in the hospital (that’s changed over the years more people are doing it after birth to months after). boys traditionally are around early toddler ages and it becomes like a family party type thing, where they get gifts and money along with a trip to the beach. However this may not bet the case in all Muslim communities just the ones around my husbands birth country. There’s a lot of men who have it removed later in life because it does become restrictive and cuts off blood flow. Others have it done because it’s cause a lot of yeast infections, or other issues with bacteria because they don’t clean well. There’s many who never have issues and keep it until the end.

Circoncision was used as proof of Jewish identity by Nazis, as I remember growing up in France. I never knew of boys being circumcised unless because of faith or medical condition, I was shocked arriving in North America to discover that it was done mater of fact. I saw it as mutilation and refused it for my son. For my grandsons some are, some are not but for my great grandson he is not as a mater of fact, the wheel seems to have gone full circle for me.
