Thank You for posting this beautiful one bij Gene. To me, he has the most beautiful voice ever. The songs with Roger Mcguinn (Byrds) belong to the most important songs in my kife. Greetings from Holland (euroope) Kees Kl.

Hi LZNDRDNZL, Thank you very very much for sharing. Everything Gene did was blessed by the force. Regarding the Gene sings you for outtakes: I respect the owners motives to not share it with Gene music fans over the world but it will not take long before they are dead or we are all dead and what a pity to withold music the Clark community.

Such exceptional lyrics. Why would anyone hold onto these? They should be in possession of his children, who will make certain that they will become available. Thank you.

@gamoonbat If you want to hear Gene really use his falsetto - wait until you hear his song "Jimmy Christ". The falsetto part will give you goose bumps! Hopefully - someday someone will get these songs released!

Vunderbarness! not the proverbial place for an uninitiate to commence! [those strained hi parts may have embarrassed Gene afterwards]

Wow, he can do a high voice just as good as Dave Crosby. Almost a dead ringer!

In my opinion, he was the best out of The Byrds. I preferred them when he was in the band. "I'll feel a whole lot better" covered by Tom Petty on his classic Full Moon Fever Album. "The World turns all around her" He was better than Mcguinn and Crosby, in my opinion. It's a shame he didn't stay and he could have written or co-wrote with Mcguinn and Hillman. I believe they would have been better and more original, rather than leaning on Bob Dylan's work to flesh out their album's
