Dude. I think Atlus deserves a lot of credit despite the "developer drama". They jam packed the NES controller with button commands than it could handle...but was still operable! The developers that made Bart vs The Space Mutants could really take a few crane kicks for not allowing us to execute a RUNNING JUMP since run/jump are on the A button.

Well done yet again G3. Loved how your son rocked the headband and displayed the game. This is defnitely a sleeper hit. While I wasn't hardcore about it as I am Ft13th, NOES, and JAWS, I did appreciate that it tried to stick to the movie. If controls had been a bit more balanced, no juggling, and either more levels or just more in the current levels, I think it could have been a top game. But compared to other LJN titles its not a bad or boring game. I do recommend it as a good licensed game because there are other licensed and non-licensed games that just don't appeal to me no matter how long I play them. Thanks again for shining some light on this good game.

I had this game when I was 7 years old and I loved it. I was a huge Karate Kid fan growing up, and I don't buy that people actually hate the game as much as they claim to. Secret you may have missed. The music track that plays during all of the mini games is suspiciously similar to the rock track playing in the background of the bar where Daniel breaks the ice blocks. It's not one to one identical, but it is clear that they specifically were referencing the scene from the movie when creating the music for the game. Check out the track from the bar "Moody Blues - Rock and Roll Over You" and hear for yourself. I could be wrong.
