Stopped training arms for 2-3 years during his Olympia reign?!?!? Have you seen his arms during the time frame when he was winning titles.....I’ve never heard of any genetics like that. Felix may have aesthetics, but no way he stops training arms for 2-3 years and they are still 24-25 inches. Ronnie had some of the best biceps and arms in general of all time. His bicep peaks were ridiculous. When he did flat dumbbell presses his biceps looked like giant balloons filled with water and would twitch as he pressed the heavy ass dumbbells. Ronnie is the best no question. 2003 and 1998. 2003 back double and lat spread will never be touched as far as I’m concerned. Those two poses beat every bodybuilder in history. Compare it to Dorian, Phil, Jay, Haney or Arnold...Ronnie looks almost like an alien at his peak. He’s the only true mass monster to have paper thin skin peeled conditioning with that level of size.
@MrInzombia3 жыл бұрын
@@jordandangelo180 Phil heath and flex wheeler said that they too had the problem of their arms gettin too large from training. So they never trained arms directly ( Arm day) and only trained them in the last 2 weeks leading up to the contest. There are quite a few bodybuilders with crazy arms and they often lay off arm training so it doesnt over power theie shoulders chest and legs. Believe it or not there is such a thing as arms too large. Your neck, calves, legs and chest look visually small and thin when the arms are just too overpowering.

To make those insane gains that he did all thru the 90's to 2000 while working fulltime is fuqqing AMAZING. Salute KING COLEMAN!

To add, you can see his daily routine from his early DVD's that he did all this while not getting much sleep. He would wake up around 9 AM, do cardio, eat, train around 11:30 AM or noon, eat, go to work from 3 to 11 PM, do cardio when he got home, and usually crashed around 3AM. Back up at 9 AM and repeat. He didn't beat him in his prime. He beat him after he was worn down and injured and on the way down in the first place. I don't think anybody in the world that I've seen in bodybuilding ever could be Ronnie Coleman in his prime. He had the best genetics I've ever seen in 40 years in bodybuilding.I'm the same height as him and he got to as big as I ever got using drugs natural.when he started to take the drugs he dominated the sport for the next decade almost. But his body just wasn't able to handle it because he used power looking type movements. I feel sorry for the guy that he can't walk around and hold his kids. If he would have trained a little more bodybuilding style rather than powerlifting he probably would be okay. Pretty exhaustion especially on the legs. Cuz he could already hit a full set of 20 reps with 600 lb on a squat that was his normal beginning set.That's when he first blew a disk his neck he said. if you would have done some extensions first you might have been able to cut it down to 405hundred and not have that issue. But hindsight is always 20/20. But I'm 44 and my shoulders knees work just fine. My only issue I have is a spinal one from getting hit by a semi when I was in my teens on a bicycle. Working out is only thing that saves me on that

I would honestly say Ronnie Coleman had the best genetics ever seen in bodybuilding. He literally made it to the Olympian natural but he never placed better than last. When flex Wheeler introduced him and told him which steroids to take he blew everybody away and put on over 60 lb in 2 years. I always said if hejust telling the truth about being natural when I read the article he would dominate the sport if he ever took anything. I was right. I love how all these idiots I know with 22-in arms at 5 ft 11 and 30 or 40 lb heavier than me say they're natural. I am 230 at 5 foot 10 inches and about 10% on an average. And I say oh really so I'll do that to do with one cycle and you would win the Olympia for the rest of your life as long as you want to write. Their answer is oh yeah but I don't want to take the drugs. That just insults my intelligence but Ronnie Coleman was as big as I was before he ever took drugs and then when he did I couldn't touch him no matter what I took.
