I don’t think Ventress has any intention of actually working for the Empire on the M-Count bounties. If anything, I think Ventress is going after other bounty hunters who are hunting Force sensitive individuals, or just as a means of self-preservation. Considering her infamy, there’s no way the Empire would do business with her. Vader would hunt her down on the spot if she ever got on his radar. Fennec tipping off Ventress felt like “Hey, got another target for you” in vibe.

I completely agree, Palatine and Vader both know Ventress personally. I would assume that she is on the list and being hunted. Fennec was giving her friend a heads up, Ventress is probably near the top of the list with Obi-Wan and Yoda.

Asajj is quickly becoming a favorite of mine even before the bad batch new season. Her story arc just in the Clone wars was almost 180° turn. When she helped Ashoka catch Bariss, I knew her story, was just getting warmed up. I'm hoping she makes it to the Ahsoka or Mandolorian franchise no matter how remote. Watch her be a headmaster for force sensitive teaching both light and dark sides.

Asajj wouldn't be doing M-Count bounties she would be on the list hunted by the Empire. Both the Emperor and Vader know Asajj personally. Fennec is a friend of Asajj and is letting her know that someone is asking about M-Count bounties and should investigate.

It would have been better if Assajj Ventress wasn't on the trailer. Probably, nobody expected to see her on The Bad Batch. Can you imagine this whole week full of theories of who is Fennec talking to. Is it Boba? Is it an imperial contact? I love the idea of it. To be honest, I guess that very few people could imagine is Ventress because of the leitmotif that is played at the end of the episode. It would've been really, really good. Or that's what I think, at least.

Omega's blood allows her to accept blood transfusions from high M-count donors and maintain the high M-count. This is equally if not more rare than force sensitives. Ventress deduces that since Omega is wanted in connection to M-count experiments and doesn't show force sensitivity, she is a viable recipient. Ventress realizes the Bad Batch is not cautious enough and that Omega will get caught. Ventress wishes to mutually benefit herself and Omega by having them be a duo, and Ventress transfusing her high M-count blood to Omega, which Omega will sustain due to the rare properties of her blood, and become force sensitive and suitable to be trained as a result.

Wow, what a great & informative video. I didn’t know Asajj’s backstory Pre-Dooku. From the moment I saw her in the trailer, I hoped this was all leading to the path. That either she was already helping Quinlan with it or was searching for him & that’s how she gets introduced into the story. I hope this will be the story of the next animated show…. But I had no idea, how her back story reinforces that she would be inclined to help force sensitive children escape exploitation.

Over the whole clone wars saga Ventress had some serious character development. Just as devils advocate I think it would be cool if Ventress shows up as a clone with no connection to the force and she's interested in the M-count "volunteers" as a way to connect with the Force again. Making that scene in the trailer something that happens later in the season after she get's her Mojo back.

Fennec puts emphasis on 'clones' because she's talking to Ventress, and knows who Ventress is. The fact that they're clones is an important detail for the top CIS assassin of the Clone War, so she makes sure to give that info clearly and distinctly. Also, Fennec's not motivated only by credits, but also by her given word. We've never seen her go back on it, so there's no reason to believe she intends to burn the Batch (as, clearly, she doesn't do).

Ventress is the missing link to all other stories from Book of Boba to Ahsoka's Mortis Gods. I think Omega is somehow related to Quinlan(her love) and why she is looking for M count targets. If this is the case, Omega will have a potential to become new breed of Force sensitive beings and ultimately be Ahsoka's unknown apprentice. May be this is the new turn of events Shin hati's master, Baylan Skoll was referring, return of force wielding clone Omega.

Ventress put two and two together. She knows the Empire has plans for those with high M-counts. Where there is a need for strong donors, there is a need for strong recipients, both of which are hard to come by. Omega doesn't display natural force sensitivity that someone untrained with a high M-count will display. Ventress deduces that since she is wanted in connection to M-count experiments, that she's a recipient. The Empire is gonna find her regardless, especially if in the same planet with the Bad Batch who aren't cautious enough. It'd be better, and beneficial for Ventress's security and Omega's safety, if Omega comes with her. Ventress will be able to transfuse her blood to Omega to make her more force sensitive, and be suitable to be trained and enhance both their chances of survivability. The force sensitives the Empire does find will be Inquisitors while the equally rare "viable recipients" for Project Necromancer.

Ventress "stole the show" the Bad Batch Trailer ... everyone is forgetting that Cad Bane also made an appearance. And Cad Bane is far more likely to be taking the Empire's money to kidnap children than Ventress - I'm wondering if we've had a very clever misdirect. Also - we know that Quinlan Vos is with the Path at this point. What if the Empire is identifying the "M-Count Targets", sending out Bounty Hunters, and Ventress is hunting the hunters and taking the kids for the Path ?!? That makes a lot more sense to me. The name dropping of Quinlan was conscious choice for setting up a Ventress and the Path storyline. Also ... could the final assault on Mt Tantiss involve Ventress, Quinlan and the Path and is a much about rescuing the kids as the Clones. And we just got a reminder of Gunji, could he play a role in this, maybe those other Younglings from the Clone Wars? Are they going to be the next animated show ?!?!?

Honestly, I don't believe so. She's just almost perfect clone of Jango Fett (the one imperfection is flipped chromozones), including his original M-count, which ALL other (except Boba) clones simply don't. Empire hunting Omega, because with her, all clones of ANY person in the galaxy will retain their original M-count, and this includes Palpatine.
