Not only was every single note SPOT ON perfect, the fact that Dan did this in only one take...meaning no splices from multiple recordings...is probably the most phenomenal part of this entire performance. I mean...lots of proficient keyboard players can hit the right notes "most" of the time. But to flawlessly put together a 7 minute consecutive recording where you don't ever hit one wrong note even once...and your rhythm, tempo and nuances are 100% perfectly in sync to Banks' original recordings...is truly the sign of a magnificent talent. Well done!

How did you get the pro soloist patches? Are they available in the Yamaha synthesizer? What mode is it by the way?
@danvitco77111 ай бұрын
It’s in song mode. After programming some of the pro soloist patches in Voice mode, song mode gives you an extra filtering option for each patch. This helps dial in certain tones very close to a Pro Soloist. Also, MOXF6 Editor (Mac Version) helped in the editing process.
