I think the front of the bk1 is more impulsive and sporty than the bk2 especially when it makes some adjustments like a carbon hood and bumper extras, I defeated Challenger SRT8 with my 3.8 bk1 MT with catback and short intake with no tune

Those Dodge cars have so much weight with that Chassis vs much much lighter Gen you can get a edge for short while till that hemi wakes up it's over lol 😝

Love my bk2 2015 ultimate. Only downside is cabin rear end is noise because previous owner use cheap lowering springs. Took it to the mechanic today to see why it was making a metal hitting noise when taking off and of course he said it was the dumb springs it has. It doesn't support the weight. Got a set of coilovers going in tomorrow and collar and subframe shims as well. Can't wait to let her rip again! Next on mod is exhaust I need those pops in my life

One thing about genesis I do not like is finding a tuner. Unsure about other states but I literally had to call 6 places before 2 confirmed they can tune my car when the time comes. Also “apparently “ bk1 are more sufficient when tuning, compared to bk2 2.0. I’m unsure about 3.8. I read it useless for 3.8 to get a tune.....other than that great vid bro. Keep up the good work

I don’t know why the front end of the bk2 look alot like any Hyundai out there example… it looks so similar to the veloster and even the i10 has a similar front end resemblance and that kills the special feeling about the bk2

And the real reason the BK2's front end looks much more aggressive besides our grill is the hood. Everyone whines about the non-functional scoop but to me it's more about styling than functionality. I don't care if it opens cos It looks bad ass (imo) 🏆 to the BK2.

I can already tell you, the tuning on BK1 3.8 is better than BK2, you have multi port fuel injection which doesnt limit you in tuning.

I beat challenger SRT8 and chrysler SRT8 with my bk1 3.8 manual transmission With some modifications on my car like catback and short intake with no tune i think the bk2 cant beat the srt8

@@ryandol6341 I got a SFR ECU tune I have a true AEM cold air intake I have a torque solutions light weight pulleys I have a torque solutions throttle body gasket I just purchased ISR rear differential bushings and 3.8 performance differential bolts I have a 3.8 performance engine leash I also have a Jun bl type R catback exhaust I'm running Vertini wheels on hankook tires

Dude u should get a pre tuned ecu by alphaspeed and basically have a canned tune. You will be able to really use all of the mods on ur car to therefull potential. Or depending on ur location maybe take it to get it tuned and make it into a video. I have a bk1 air intake custom exhaust and tune. And its much more responsive now. Just thought maybe u should look into it👌#koreanpower

i picked BK1 because Hyundai/Kia Bad GDI engines in BK2 more engine failures and Oil Consumption

actually the internals of BK2 are stronger, regarding the tuning, it's becouse it's hard to find someone able to tune rigth the complexity of GDI, not to mention it is only some months the Motec finally released an ecu able to manage that. That is mostly why most of the 3.8 bk2 pushing high numbers have been converted to MPI with haltech ecu.

I went to the dealer expecting a BK1 but was pretty disappointed when I saw the BK2. I didn't know they had changed it. BK1 can be made to look pretty awesome vs bk2, but the bk2 front has grown on me and has some advantages. I def like the BK2 interior much better than bk1. I have the rspec so it's minimal but the seats are amazing. Anyone looking to build for big power, I recommend BK1 over BK2 (for 3.8, for 2.0 BK2 is better). For FBO and nitrous builds, BK2 is a good platform.
