Hi mate, just to let you know I still view this vid when I get through an album. I'm currently on Abacab on your list. I definitely dont find it as enjoyable as the ones you've put further down your list but I'll give it a few more listens!

I'm 54 and i am a genesis fan since i was 13....... I would say to you that this is the Genesis discopgraphy ranking more close to mine. of all we can find on internet. Ciao dall' Italia!!

The top 6 are almost on a level par and can change in my list, although I've consistently placed LLDOB and TOTT as my 1st and 2nd. Things take a huge a tumble from Abacab down. Foxtrot would be higher up if only it was produced a little better and Rutherford could reign it in on the bass a little. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway Trick Of The Tail Selling England By The Pound Nursery Cryme Wind and Wuthering Duke Foxtrot And Then There Were Three Trespass Abacab (first of the disappointment's and all downhill from here) Invisible Touch Genesis From Genesis To Revelation We Can't Dance Calling All Stations

Difficult band to rank because it covers nearly three decades and there are lots of great albums. My list from bottom up would be Genesis to Revelations,, Calling All Stations, Nursery Cryme, We Can't Dance, Lamb Lies Down (lots of great songs, and like most double albums lots of filler that doesn't always work), Genesis, Trespass, And Then There Were 3, Invisible Touch, Foxtrot, Abacab (very underrated album and I'm not sure why some consider it poppy), Duke, Selling England by the Pound, Wind and Wuthering and Trick of the Tail. Top 10 can always change spots, but that's where it is now.

The best album from Genesis is The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (1974).

Is it just me or does 'Dreaming While You Sleep' off the album 'We Can't Dance' sound musically very similar to a Can song??
