Hi, This issue is common also in Kia Stinger with 3.3T engines, and the Oil Pressure sensor usually goes bad around 100k KM. Some owners has reported the issue even with low oil change intervals "5000 KM" using 5W-30 oil. BTW, I learned from your video that we can crack the engine by holding the Start Button , thanks for the tip 😊

Yup, it happened to my Kia Stinger 2 years ago at 150,000km. I did all oil changes myself aswell every 4-5000km with 5w30 aswell.

Looks like a newer car? Hopefully just oil sensor and nothing major. Also looks like you’ll be adding that adapter to your tool collection too.

Unrelated question but hope you can answer this. I'm an automotive locksmith and we unlock Hyundai's daily. In the last couple years I have noticed a pattern with these cars many having less than 1000 miles on them that are completely dead so their fobs don't work and many won't open with the emergency key if the battery is dead. I still can't figure out why they call them an emergency key but that's another story and I hope they never fix it. :) My question is why are all these new Hyundai's completely dead? Most as a courtesy we can jump them after we open it but some won't jump and have to be towed. We run close to 100 calls per week and Hyundai's are the only one that have this new car dead battery issue. Are you seeing this and if so what is the cause? All these customers promise to follow up with me after they go to the dealer but none of them have ever actually followed up. The mystery with these is driving me nuts! On a side note I finally scanned my Sportage because I had the ABS, traction control and BDS lights on. LR ABS (bearing) sensor. I have one order can't wait to finally get these lights off my dash.

What model on hyundai's? Where the vehicle park? Is it underground or open space. ? If its open space this new vehicles they have bluelink, so the vehicle and the cell network always in communication. On the genesis side we have the issue with the newer gv80s, but there was an uodate to resolve the issue. Here in our shop i havent encounter yet regarding that issue.

@@hyundaitech This issue seems to be across the board with hybirds and non hybrids. Yesterday for instance was a 24 Sonata SEL. Our customers tend to be older people and usually these are parked outside. I had one in a store parking lot. Not even 300 miles on it. Totally dead wouldn't jump. That was an SUV possible electric. I know some of them have a reset button on the dash. Not sure what that does. That one had to be towed. As an aside I have a Genesis Coupe in my driveway it was my dads car. I think it's a 2012. 13,000 miles on it. I need to sell it. Brakes went to the floor so I put a master in it. It worked a lot better but not perfect. It's been sitting doing nothing for a few years.

@scotts4125 the reset button in the dash for the hybrid models is to reset the 12 volt battery, usually when that happens either the battery is too low and the vehicle try to shut it off everything,(to save energy for the next ignition event) then once you press that reset button it will wake up the system and you can able to start the vehicle. For the non hybrids maybe theres a parasitic draw causing for the battery to be dead?.
