Genie Aladdin Connect: Setup your Door Position Sensor

To set up your Door Position Sensor (DPS) remove the tab from the door position sensor, check that the door button on the door control module is blue.

So I have the Door Position Sensor connected and at 100% battery. Does it mean anything that the sensor doesn’t stay solid blue? The blue light is off but it’s connected. Also opening the garage manually with the remotes and wall remotes work, but opening/closing with the app doesn’t work. It does make the sound ringing noise and click, but it doesn’t do anything and it ends up being timed out.

The door sensor signal is pathetically weak. It can’t reach across the garage to the main console and needs clear line of sight. Ugh.
