after it flashes blue it turns red.

I stuck at Connect Your Device ( Setting up device - Reconnecting to WiFi…..) Tried many times but still can not pass the step . What should I do ?

If this doesn’t work for you, check if your remote says 2.0.3 under the metal clip. Known issue that those remotes won’t work.

The wiring is not explained well at all.

ALL worked well until the batteries were changed. NOW, the LED indicator will not light up and doesn't accept the code to open the door! Please help

Hooray, the "Learn Method" (at 6:20) worked for me after a few attempts. For me, the stumbling points were that the white LED light (at 7:06) does not go out, and the opener does not "click" but rather moves the garage door up / down. But anyway, by being patient, and adopting a few modifications, the "Learn Method" finally synched my Genie remote control with my Chamberlain garage opener unit. 👍 Thanks for saving me a technician service call!

Horrible video. Didn’t explain lots of things and you couldn’t tell what he was doing exactly in the video. He never did show how to set the up-and-down limits after the door stopped the first time. 🙄

I had to put my android phone in airplane mode then turn on the WiFi and turn off the VPN on duckDuckGo. It will only connect to the 2.4 network. Luckily my router has both.

I guess people have different ease of comprehension because I did it with ease I used the manual. I’m just trying to program it to my front gate now and that’s why I am here haha

When I was programming the travel limits, I found the buttons were working the opposite way. The “+” button closed the door, and the “-” button opened it. Do you think this is a problem with the machine, or did I do something wrong?😂

My dip switch has the switch number flipped compared to the given example. Is the code opposite of what is stated here?

Lorsque j'ai acheter mon ouvre porte, il étais marqué instruction en Français. Oui mes programmation en anglais. J'ai tous installer et maintenant je suis a la programmation des limites. (j'ai deux problème soie un ou soit l'autre. Plus capable de faire des ajustement, je doit faire un reset mes je ne sait pas comment. je vais dans la programmation mes la chaine ne bouge plus. ) l'autre une foi tous programmer. Je ferme la porte et elle ouvre seul comme si il détecte quelque chose par terre.) mes détecteur son vert et l'autre rouge.) Voici ma procédure de programmation. j'appuis sur le - quand sa flache je dressant la porte, un fois ferme, 1x programme, j'appuis sur le + quand sa flache je monte la porte, , 1x programme. Sur l'interrupteur au mure, je ferme la porte ( problème 1 elle ouvre pas.) si tous vas bien j'ouvre la porte, j'installe 2x4 et ferme la porte. Elle remonte et enlève le 2x4. Programmation supposer être terminer. Je ferme la porte et elle remonte tous seul. (problème 2) Il y a t-il quelqu'un qui parle Français qui peux m'aider.

Have tried the manual instructions as well as this video. Nothing seems to be resolving my issue. Can’t seem to get the keypad to set a code or get the opener to pair with the keypad. Ready to swap it out for a new manufacturer. Seems to be evident their instructions are piss port

Our older opener will only allow 6 remotes. Old broken remotes still programmed in there. When we added keypad, one of our 4 remotes quit working. Reprogrammed remote, new keypad quit working. Book says we must erase all remotes from opener by holding down learn button till blinking stops, then reprogram up to 6 remotes. Thanks for video

Dont work on mine, even doing all right. When i ginish the programming, blinks purple when i hit the bottom and dont open it

For those who just bought this, just replace the old switch with the new switch.

Two question to Genie community: 1) Rail Length (ft.): 9.5 ft...? 2) Belt or screw...?

I’m an Aussie and I really like garage doors and I have a B&D at home, I also heard that Genie made antenna rotators like the HD-73 when you were still Alliance. I found a video called “Peek-A-Genie” where the lady and a girl was fighting and opening and closing the door. - Riley

Great video - was able to change the code from the previous owner's to mine. Go figure when the garage door tech came out here to perform some maintenance, he said my keypad was faulty (and he had gone on Genie's site to go over the reprogramming steps).

This will probably get lost in the comments, but my situation was "new house, no idea on the code" I followed several videos, but this one worked BUT i had to take it off the wall & program it right near the garage door opener itself

Chamberlain Model # C2212T does not work with #4 as ID (it has yellow button). It never clicks and does not program. Is there a workaround?

Both lights DON'T "turn off" once you press and release the set button; they turn GREEN. WTF Genie, don't you know your own equipment? It even happens in the video! AND IN MY GARAGE! Unbelievably POOR QUALITY.

I am going to replace these two genies less than two years old with lift masters.

How do I get the second one to open? It's the same brand and everything,?

This video is misleading. 7:05 Nowhere in the instructions does it mention a white light, but on this video it does. When I gave up on trying to figure it out, I called Genie Customer Service, in which a nice lady answered and I told her my issue of not being able to pair my remote, in which she told me that these remotes under normal programming procedure should NEVER turn on a white light, in which the instrucctions never mention a white light anyways.

The screw drive has broken (or, separated?) on my Genie Intellicode garage door opener. Unfortunately the installer did not leave the Owners Manuel. Can I purchase just the screw drive?

I found that you have to have 2.4Ghz on your home network. Will not work with 5Ghz. Once in app have your phone also connected to 2.4Ghz. Than it worked flawlessly.

This is so ridiculous. At it for an hour and neither of my '21 Fords will connect to the garage door opener. There HAS TO BE a simpler way.
